    Hi folks,

I've got a TiVo HD with a MCard on FiOS and tuner "0" isn't receiving channels, but tuner "1" is fine. I say tuner "0" and "1" because that's how they are enumerated in the diagnostics screen.

Unfortunately the TiVo will still try to record with this bad tuner. If I want to reliably record with Season Pass, etc. I need to somehow disable tuner "0". Is this possible?

    Many thanks in advance,
    Rob

I will point out that if you have an "M" card it has to go into the #1 slot on the THD, one of those "just checking" things that you might have missed

If the Tivo HD doesn't have lifetime service, then I would just buy another one and transfer the service.

No lifetime service, so TiVo will transfer the service and I'll be able to keep my nice low monthly rate?

Yes, you should be able to do it online. Should be as simple as buying a used TivoHD, then going to your account at tivo.com and clicking on "change service number".

Lifetime service is not eligible for a TSN swap.

Just understand that you cannot transfer a Premiere onto that subscription. Only a series 3 platform(or earlier) model.

Noted. What's so special about Premieres vs. S3s?

The Premieres fall under the new pricing plan, $19.99/mo or $499 lifetime ($14.99/mo & $399 under MSD).
Since you cannot buy a Premiere at full price, they are disqualified from doing a TSN swap.

Just wondering if you were able to change your TSN and if you even tried to do it with a Premiere box?
