I know -- I just meant the growing hostility between her and them, that started with her "true death for everyone!" attitude. Once she found out about Sookie, that obviously meant that B/E weren't going to let her live, but it was just one more reason for Bill. She didn't want them to live either, so it was either her or them. And it wasn't going to be them.

You may be right about Debbie. I assumed she was dead, but I have no idea really. If Tara can be alive, I guess Debbie can be alive too. We'll have to wait until next season to find out who is actually dead and who is just mostly dead.

I think Terry was suprised to see his war buddy because the guy had died.

Seems they only kept the Marnie going for one more episode just to kill off Jesus.

I don't think Tara is dead, her stories suck, but at least she had a good looking gf.

What I love about this show is the way each season ends in the moment between pressing the button and the bomb going off.

Oh, wait, that's what I hate about this show!

    Okay, maybe I'm conflicted.
I think there'd be about a ten-way tie for line of the night. But that would be one of them.

I thought that was strange. Because Rene was NOT Cajun. He was faking the accent! (And I forget his real name, but it wasn't Rene, that was all part of the fake Cajun thing.) (ETA: I looked it up, it was Drew Marshall.)

But then when he appeared as a ghost, he was using the fake Cajun accent again. Was it a mistake (did the writers really forget that he had faked it), or was it supposed to mean that he wasn't really a ghost and Arlene was just imagining him or something? Why would a ghost fake an accent?

Almost impossible to write such a horrible season, but if Tara is actually dead then the writers did accomplish something worthwhile.

if these moronic writers would just stick to the vampire storyline this show could be great. EVERY character doesn't need powers - we don't need everyone to be a wolf, witch, panther, spirit, etc. its ridiciulous.

that being said, if Russell is back for next season it could be good again. the Marnie character has to be the absolute worst character to have such a big arc in a show i've seen.

Well, they tried to give Jason powers this year. Luckily they didn't go through with it. And speaking of which. They really just dropped that whole story line with the panthers. It seems like there should be more to tell there.

He was acting sorta strange there when Hoyt first decked him.
I thought sure he was gonna do something then.

You have a point. Perhaps she wasn't doing the same stupid and unproductive screaming to 'somebody' for help that I've seen countless times in movies and on TV. Perhaps she was actually thinking, 'Eric, Bill, bring your V over here and save Tara.' You are right that they have that connection.

Tara can't be dead. She dropped the f-bomb in just about every other sentence. I loved that about her.

HA-- I forgot about that. I even made a note about it when I watched the episode just to remind myself to mention it... The idea of the episode was that Halloween is when the line between life and death is at it's thinnest, so we're led to believe these are actual ghosts and not just people's imaginations... So I thought it was hilarious that he had his fake accent. That scene would have been so much better if he had his regular voice.

Couldn't disagree more. The vamp stories are OK at best, but 90% of the time all they amount to is a horrendous melodrama... All of the other stuff is what I like about the show. The more stories, the weirder the arcs, the more I like it... Watching a show about two corny vampires whining over a girl is of absolutely no interest to me. On the flip side, watching a show about Jessica is another story.

Gay stormtroopers was good, but Pam's rant about Sookie was the best thing this episode... maybe even the entire season.

    Yeah, bout...
We need way more of this!!!

I for one don't think Tara is dead because Sookie kept calling out for help. I think Sookie would know right away if Tara was still alive or not. I think Russell is there too and he comes in just in the nick of time to offer to save Tara for some of Sookie's blood.
