Ok, I haven't been on here in a while and I searched for a little bit and didnt find anything so sorry if this has been discussed to death. Here is my situation. I have 5 Tivo's in my house(2 HD, 2DT, 1 series 1), 1 on lifetime, the rest are at month to month with a MSD anywhere from 6.95 to 8.95, i think?? My cable company, wide open west of chicago, just went to switched digital video, now that as you prob know wiped out my Dual tuner series 2 capabilties. My question is , Can I just buy a Tivo priemere or tivo hd off of ebay and transfer my service from one of my older DT's and still get the low MSD, or am I screwed into the new pricing at like $20 a month? Thanks.. Mike

I believe you will be fine as long as you buy anything OTHER than a Premiere or Premiere XL.

The Premieres are not eligible for a TSN swap.

If you get a premiere, you would get the subscription rate of $14.99/msd. If you are interested in swapping out a monthly sub box, you can get anything other than a premiere, and in your tivo.com account, select change service. You can get new TiVos such as a Series 3/HD/HD XL on amazon.com.

If you want to add a box such as the above with lifetime, then go to ebay. Or Craigslist.
