(I checked and couldn't find any threads on this show, so apologies if I smeeked.)

Anybody else watch this? Daniel Tosh's show with his commentary of, and skits centered on, viral web videos is absolutely hilarious, bordering mean-spirited. Think The Soup but with South Park's twisted sense of humor :D

How twisted? In reference to a video of a stripper invited to a 100 year old woman's birthday party, he decided to do the opposite and had a (just about) 100 year old woman stripping for him, complete with breasts that have sagged all the way down to waist level  I feel so guilty for laughing at that one, because it's just wrong on so many levels :D

Or, seeing a bus driver yelling at someone to move to the back of his bus, and suddenly seeing a Rosa Parks-resembling woman getting up from her seat immediately behind the driver. (Before you get upset, the driver was actually yelling at Daniel and a kid he invited for a "Web Redemption" as the kid has been previously kicked off a bus for flatulence issues).

Some of the humor is also centered around Daniel's apparent sexual-preference ambiguity.

Although it's been around for 3 seasons, I only just found out about it, so I have a lot of catching up to do. Good news: all 3 seasons are available on iTunes. Bad news: it'll cost me over $100 to get caught up :(

I've watched Tosh.O for a couple of years - and hardly worth paying to catch up on - it re-runs regularly.

The videos and comments on them are generally funny - in a frat boy toilet humor kinda way - but I dunno about this current season. It feels like Mr. O has gotten too big for his britches. The now worst part of the show is the weekly monologue commentary that generally is NOT funny.

I thought the elderly dancer 'sketch' went too far.
I felt bad for the woman they cast to do it.

Of course I watch Tosh.0 - after my girlfriend goes to bed. Tosh is like the Three Stooges, in that women usually don't get it, they just think it's stupid (just my experience, YMMV).

I think it hilarious, it's like I'm 19 again! It seems like his sense of humor was arrested around the freshman year of college.

I don't think he's gay, he just thinks that gay jokes are funny; just like I did at 19 - and I guess I still do, in this context.

On one of his shows, he had all the male writers of his staff (including himself) take viagra and watch gay porn while wearing sweatpants. No one rose to the occasion.

I speak on behalf of one girl-I find parts of it absolutely hilarious. Others I'm not as comfortable with. I like it enough to watch it when I'm channel surfing, but not enough to TiVo-although I have thought about it.

I like it, but I think he does too much talking and not enough clips now though.

Right? When it started there wasn't as much 'commentary' - I think.

I always catch like the last minute or two of the show as I watch whatever comes on right after it. The show does look funny, but I've just never pulled the trigger to watch a full episode.

A surprising number of his audience are female (20's generally, like the males). You saw that when people lined up to see him at ASU, and on those clips that are simply too shocking to show uncensored on TV (like the guy who had been injecting his "manhood" with silicone to make it bigger), sometimes he will have the camera show the audience so you can see their reaction.

Yeah that one made me laugh too. Though as it's technically illegal in CA to provide prescription drugs to someone for which they don't have a prescription unless that person is a doctor, I doubt the consumption of Viagra was real (unless all of them just happen to have a scrip for it).

I don't think he's gay either. I think the whole "is he gay or not" question must have stemmed from Season 1 and people writing in (or perhaps gay men hitting on him). The fact that he man-scapes and some of his mannerisms are vaguely effeminate add to the doubt, so he just ran with it.

One thing I learned is to NOT consume food or beverages while watching this show. I learned that real quick when watching the episode about the guy who had video of him having a tail, and Tosh allegedly going to meet the guy and

fellating it, and finally biting it off

Oh I don't know...there are some rather elderly women out there who are surprisingly frisky, especially with much younger men. It's beyond "cougar." She probably enjoyed filming that skit a lot more than Daniel did.

There was a woman about as old as the one in that skit who recently tried to hit on a fellow officer who was in his early 20's

I watch, and think it's usually pretty funny, but I always wish I could unsee the ones where someone busts an arm or leg and it's just flopping around in a Theismann-esqe manner. Those clips give me the shivers.

If you see a video that starts with two girls arm wrestling, FF or turn it off quickly! What happens next is an image that will never leave my head and it's horrible. Great show, but there is at least one or two cringe worthy moments per show where I have to look away or close my eyes. Sadly, I'm not kidding.

we love Tosh.0. the wife and older kids love it. oldest is in college and it's a staple for college youth. some of the best of youtube on display w/commentary each week! and yes, much of it is cringe worthy - but we have to watch that!! the barf clips aren't as frequent at least, so you have that :)

The day I saw that, I managed to see a second arm wrestling arm break on Discovery health. That was a weird day.

When it's the elderly, you could probably refer to her as a "sabre-toothed tiger". :D

I watch it quite a bit but don't like the videos of people breaking bones or impaling themselves, etc. Also, no vomit.

Watch every episode religiously, and often more than once.
Add me to the do not think he's gay pile.
Uncdrew is right, his standup is fantastic. Even the special they show on Comedy special is a cut above most others.
