Just shows that 6 million people have no taste...
Yay. I like it. It's a good summer show. And I think, from what I've seen so far, that it's better than the recent alien shows on NBC (The Event) and ABC (V).
Or maybe one person has no taste.
For every one person watching, there are millions who choose not to...
I imagine you could say that about ANY show, no matter how popular.
So let's see, six million people watching, for each of whom there are millions not watching, the total population of the Earth is seven billion...
I guess my math isn't very good, because I can't get the numbers to work.
Well, I'm excited. Not the greatest show ever, but I would say good enough so far, and hey, at least the special effects are high quality.
good news. I'm really enjoying this show.
Great news. Don't understand the haters. Feel free not to like it and not to watch it, but why give a thumbs down to the news that it was renewed? It's not like this is on a broadcast network and taking up a timeslot for another show you liked. This is on TNT that has very little original content worth speaking of.
Hmmm, I thought Falling Skies was a one and done mini-series. A little disappointed because I was hoping for something that wrapped up.
Not sure what to think now. My mom said she didn't care for it and we are very similar in entertainment tastes for that type of thing.
How long is the current season and what have you thought of it? I have all the episodes recorded but haven't watched any.
Damn, I only signed on because I was told this was going to be a mini-series. Now I'm committed...
This. I thought we were watching a mini, and now it's a series? How will this change the story? Are we going to have a Heroes pulled on us, where they take the original plot, with all its cohesiveness and logical conclusions, and kludge an ending that allows for season two to happen, but in exchange gives us a story that becomes a clusterfrack?
It was never a miniseries. For some reason, some people thought it was (maybe because they couldn't believe a show would only have ten episodes in a season?). But it was always Season 1 of a projected ongoing series.
OK. And folks, ever see the show Combat? The old show about GIs in the European theater during WW II. Ever look like there was going to be a conclusion? Nope. WW II was the environment the stories were told in. Why not an alien invasion?
All I know is they better tell me who killed Rosie Larsen by the end of the first season
I think I read that all of these first season episodes have been in the can for nearly a year, so I doubt they'll be changing the ending either way.
I never finished the premier but my guess is it was a Skittle.
That said, should I use my Comcast On Demand to start watching now that its gonna continue or should I fuggetaboutit Dr Carter?
I think there are enough people who like it to give it a chance and decide for yourself. I'm enjoying it so far.
