    Anchorage,...
I only saw the original series sporadically as it was ending its run, and more as a "it's what on in the living room" type of thing. My late mother loved the show, and even toured Southfork Ranch in the early '80s.

And it'll be nice to see Jordana Brewster on television on a weekly basis.

I loved Dallas 30 years ago. I doubt if I'll tune in for a nighttime soap opera this go round.

Count me as one of those nuts who had to be home on Friday nights to watch Dallas. I'll be recording this.

Holy crap. I'd forgotten how hot Mary Crosby was back in the day.

Interesting promo. I didn't realize the actors from the old generation were going to have such a (seemingly) large role...

Loved Dallas back in the day and will be there with bells on for this one, will probably keep watching as long as Hagman is around... it would be worthless w/o him.

    I'll give this a go.

I've been to Southfork a few times. Even been inside the house.

Wow... I honestly thought Hagman had died.

They're promoting a show that isn't coming on until next summer... it's getting crazy - I thought movie promos a year or more out was nuts.

They probably won't in the series as a whole, but are there to help introduce the new characters in the first episode. Kinda like Star Trek: Generations (although there, the TNG actors didn't need the old, IMHO).

Given how energetic JR was originally, I can't picture his character BEING JR with Hagman being as frail as he is. I could be wrong. Patrick Duffy will fill in the gap, Bobby's always had troubles reconciling his Ewing nature vs. being a decent human being.

On another note, I was on Netflix, seeing if the original series is on streaming (it's not) and noticed it was on for 14 seasons. And I watched them all! I swear, Dallas was my dad's favorite show, and no matter where we were, if it was Friday night at 9, we'd have to get to a TV. Once he even watched in a store because he couldn't get home in time.

I think we picked up the series around S3 or S4, then they started showing the old seasons in syndication and I got to watch the whole Jim Davis/Jock Ewing thing go down. They dragged that on forever.

He was just on Desperate Housewives last season. His character died. :)
