#@%&#@ dangit, I paid 58.99 back in May... tempted to get another one for the bedroom but it just isn't THAT important. At $38 though that's getting tempting.

If I didn't already have one, I'd jump on this.

And I get $42.44. Oh, Amazon and your crazy variable pricing...

(I paid $89.99 in August of last year.)

I love this remote though. My bedroom TV shares the TiVo that's in the living room and this remote has been the best solution for me.

I just ordered one $42.15. My original S3 1-2 slider remote went missing while the baby sitter was here.

Questions - When running 2 TiVos in the same room, if you have two slider remotes will they get confused? Without a 1-2 switch is there any way to use a single slider remote for two TiVos?

Sorry if these questions have been discussed, my search was unsuccessful.

The slider remote is paired to a dongle (Bluetooth) so with two sliders, you'll have two dongles (one plugged into each TiVo).

Would be nice if TiVo provided a code to make use of the A - D buttons to act as the 1-2 switch. I am sure they thought of it and decided they could make more money selling a second remote.

And how would you handle the second bluetooth adapter that would be needed?

In that implementation, obviously, the switch would toggle the Bluetooth pairing.

Is this remote really worth the money?

For me it certainly was. Suited my particular need, remote access in another adjoining room, by a peanut shaped TiVo remote that has physical buttons. The keyboard is gravy.

And I paid $90. Today's prices are a good deal.

You would still need a second Bluetooth adapter though.

Also since the A-D buttons do various options on different screens you would then have to make the switch only work on certain screens that don't use the A-D buttons.

I read a lot of lousy reviews on the slide remote but bought it any for the bluetooth. It works great, I haven't had any issues at all. My only regret was that I paid $59 @BB for it.
