Advertisements This weekend my channel banner started showing "Tivo service unavailable" instead of any show information. When I went to my to do list nothing was scheduled. When I checked the network settings it had recently (within several hours) successfully connected to Tivo. I forced a connection anyway, which was successful, and it downloaded new stuff. My To Do list was still empty and the channel banner still showed "Tivo service unavailable". I rebooted and my channel banner came back, but only a couple of recording showed up in my To Do list. I reordered all the season passes to force Tivo to redo the To Do list and things seemed mostly back to normal. Until I noticed last night that at least a couple of recordings were not going to be recorded for this reason: I thought this was only a message you could get on the DVD combo Tivos, but I got it on a TivoHD. I contacted Tivo support by chat and they said it was a known issue with no resolution.
