TIVO on the tennis court, 30fps?

I am thinking of using TIVO on the tennis court -- to record my forehand and then watch it frame-by-frame using the TIVO remote to jog through the video.

My idea is to connect a camcorder to the TIVO and record the feed. I'm concerned that TIVO won't be able to record the necessary frames-per-second -- or maybe it will record them but it won't allow me to jog through enough frames-per-second for this to work.

    Thoughts anyone?

How about a laptop/netbook and a camera. You will can get 60fps and would be much more portable. I have no idea how many FPS the TiVo would be.

Hmm, it seems like a TiVo isn't needed for this. Why not use a digital camera hooked to a monitor? Then you can control it from the camera itself.
