Tivo message: "Updating Payment Information"

    One of my Roamio's, which has Lifetime and is running a Comcast CableCard, occasionally pops up this message when doing various things, like trying to set a recording or whatever:


    I have numerous Tivo's on my account, but all of them are Lifetime. I checked my Tivo account and none of them have a credit card associated with them, but I don't see why I would need that because of the Lifetime service. Tivo chat support confirmed that it has valid Lifetime, and said it was a billing issue.

    Anybody know why this happens or how to clear this up?

    The way to clear it up is to delete the message. If you have Lifetime the message does not apply to you.

    I received the message also. I figure the accounting is done by the guide people in their free time.

    Last couple of days got it on all my lifetimes, never saw it before.

    dang, i scrolled several pages and did a bunch of searches to see if this had been asked about already and didn't turn up that thread. (vague title)
