Tivo for iOS Unable to Schedule Recordings

    Hi all!

    I have a Tivo Series 3/HD box and just downloaded the Tivo app for iOS. So far, I think it's a great app. However, I can't schedule any recordings from the app. Every time I attempt to schedule a show to record I get the following error:

    Error response from IT: code: 1005, text: Partner not authorized to do this operation.

    Has anyone seen this before? Any idea what I can do? This app has a much better interface for looking up shows and scheduling recordings than doing it with the remote. I'd LOVE to use it.

    FYI, I ensured that I tested it with programs that I can schedule without issue using the remote and the Tivo box itself.

    Help!!!!

    I just noticed the same message using app on my iPad with iOS 6

    Same here. Also get same message on my TiVo android app.

    Bump. Same here, have been able to program recordings from the Android app within the past month but now I get the error.

    I just scheduled a season pass from the app on an iPad, no problem.

    OK. All better. Restarted TiVO. Reset app on the iPhone. Works fine. Don't know which action (or both) made it work.
