First of all, thanks to everybody for making this forum what it is - what a great resource! Is there anybody else who has had the following issue: When installing Tivo Desktop (Vista 32bit), it can find my Tivo Premiere, but not see any of the shows on it. I've doubly verified the MAK, and run diagnostics. Here's the result I'm getting:

    TiVo DVRs on your Network

Test execution failed: "Read NPL from DVR"
Error reason: "can't send request https://192.xxx.xxx.xxx:443/TiVoConnect?Command=QueryContainer&Container=%2FNowPlaying&Details=All&GlobalSort=Yes&ItemCount=0&Recurse=Yes&SortOrder=Type,CaptureDate"
Error details: WinHttpSendRequest fails, error code: 12002, description: The request has timed out.

The DVR's Media Access Key does not match the key in TiVo Desktop for the following DVRs:

    Premiere 7460001xxxxxxxx

You will not be able to transfer recordings from these DVRs

Test execution failed: "Find DVRs that do not have transfer permissions set"
Error reason: "can't receive HTTP server response"
Error details: WinHttpReceiveResponse fails, error code: 12002, description: The request has timed out.

Any suggestions on what I can do to get this working?

    Setup details:
    • Wired Gigabit Ethernet on PC and Tivo
    • Windows Vista 32 bit (firewall disabled)
    • Tivo Premiere (non-XL)

Nevermind. A reboot helped. Let's hope it stays this way.

Mine does this after I transfer a few files and needs to be rebooted. After rebooting, if I transfer more files from it, it happens again. How's yours doing?
