    No solutions?

    I've uninstalled and reinstalled
uninstalled and deleted every file/folder that has tivo in the name
uninstalled and deleted every file/folder, AND every ref to tivo in the registry

Firewall is not activated, no virus software installed. Linksys router with DD-WRT firmware, but should not block anything internal. Tivo is communicating across wireless network without any issues.

Two calls to support haven't revealed anything useful. Their final solution. I had to open a specified list of ports. Did that too, although it was a useless exercise, considering the firewall is turned off on this computer.

I am convinced that Tivo support on the phone is as useful as putting a message in a bottle and flushing it down the toilet. Did you try the suggestions here:

If you want this to feel like a real Tivo support experience: play a 30 second sound loop 800 times while waiting in front of the computer for at least 45 minutes while doing nothing.

Thank you for the link. I have since tried it, and it didn't help :(

Blue Tooth is your friend. At least Tivo answers the phone. I attempted to warranty a defective product, and the vendor asked me a question that I couldn't immediately answer. Called back, and they must have blocked my number, because I continuously received a busy signal. So then I used my cell phone and the phone was answered, they attempted to play yet another game. Never did get the product replaced. Never bought anything else from them, they showed me.
