Anyone notice that when TiVo Desktop 2.6 transfers over automatically ANY podcast. That it "protects" it and prevents it from being able to be COPIED back off the TiVo to either another computer, or even another TiVo.

Why is this? considering that the Podcasts that are on my computer in the first place don't have any DRM copy protection on it and allow me to copy as much as I want.

In addition to that. Some of the podcasts are my private podcasts as well.

I'd have to double check but I think it does that with any content transfered to your tivo, not just podcasts. My guess is that it is a compromise to the MPAA to prevent the coping of content that MAY have been copied illegally. So they limit you to only making copies from an original source (in this case they assume that what you have on your computer is the original) not making digital copies of a digital copy (what you copied to your Tivo). It sucks but I think that is basically what the rules are.
