Tivo Crashed and will not boot up.

Greetings all

So i have an old Series 2 about 6 years old, un modified and last week it started randomly rebooting every now and then, i didn't think to much off it and planned on replacing the hard drive fairly soon. But yesterday in the middle of watching a show the tivo froze. I powercycled the unit and now i can not get it to boot up at all. It never gets to a welcome screan or anything like that at all. The Left LED (normaly the green one that turns to red when you record) is flashing yellow/green at me very rapidly as soon as i plug the unit back in. The I can hear the hard drive power up and the fans moving. Any thoughts of what this could be?

Tried a new power supply, no joy at all. I have a lifetime subscription on the box, anything else i can try that you can think of?
