Tivo Connected to Hughes Net Satellite Internet Connection

    I own a cabin in an area where there is only satellite internet available. I am recording shows at my primary residence and am taking my tivo with me to my cabin to replay the shows there. I did this for the first time this weekend and learned that a tivo doesn't replay anything if not connected to the internet. So I connected it to my HughesNet Satellite Connection ( ~ 600ms latency, ~ 1MB down, ~ 200k up ) . The replay worked initially - though it took quite a while for the replay to start - and then stopped working. Does anybody have any experience with this type of setup / use case ?

    AFAIK, it is NOT required to have an internet connection for playback of shows in Now Playing/My Shows.

    Is it a Premiere? To playback shows without an internet connection, just hit "Play" instead of "Select" when in My Shows. Use Channel Up/Channel Down to navigate to the different shows in a folder. Granted, it's not very convenient at all, but it will get the job done.
