A whole pile of Lifetime TiVo Boxes. Trying to unclutter the house and these boxes are hitting the recycle bin.

You should try to hold on to them even if you have to compress them for space. The boxes could become collector's items one day.

I assume that none of those TiVos include lifetime service? But even a TiVo Roamio Pro in good working condition without lifetime service could fetch $50-70 on eBay. If it does have lifetime service, then it can bring $250-350.

As for the earlier model TiVos, if they don't have lifetime service, I doubt they'd fetch enough on eBay to make it worthwhile for you to bother.

He's dumping the boxes, not the actual units.

I know, I had to look twice.

Very misleading original post, since TiVo’s are often called “boxes”, Even in some TiVo ads, IIRC.

I applaud those of us who save original boxes. It shows a certain respect for the purchase and possible resale. Except TVS. not easy getting those back in the box the way it was shipped. Like mentioned above. Boxes can be valuable. I was bidding on what I thought was an item. I looked twice and the box was going for over $100.

TiVo was a beacon of hope, now it's a misfit child that's been punished and sent to his room.:(
