I was surprised it took until post #37 that someone else mentioned the one comic I disliked the most: Andrew Dice Clay. Talk about running a bit into the ground....

Happily, his time in the spotlight was short lived.

I never found any of these guys' comedy acts particularly amusing:

    Richard Lewis
    Richard Belzer
    Pauley Shore
    Howie Mandel

Working with Christina Applegate as well.
His resume just keeps getting more impressive.

Some of the people on that list could be remembered as past greats if they'd retired while still on top of their game (I'm looking at you Gallagher).

With the exception of Bill Cosby, that list says it all. Do you find anyone at all, under the age of 50, funny?

Absolutely agree. The guy plays the same character over and over and over and somehow gets great accolades for it.

I agree he is one of the funniest comics I have ever seen. :D But the funniest of all was Rodney "I Get No Respect!" Dangerfield.

#1 worst comedian on my list:

    Milton Berle, hands down.

Not only unfunny, but always struck me as a genuinely unlikable person.

#2 would probably be Jackie Mason.

And I really don't get the comparison between Steven Wright and Henny Youngman. They are nothing alike.

Before I clicked on this thread, or read the linked list, my first thought was "Jonathan Winters."

I have heard he *used* to be funny, but all of the times I have seen him on TV (remember Mork & Mindy?) he was genuinely unfunny.
