Glad to see the boy, Carl, was still alive. I half expected them to kill him off. I guess they still could, although it seems they would have done it already instead of drawing it out longer.

I figured they'd find the girl, one way or the other this episode. Guess they will drag it out longer too.

The guy that shot Carl was recently on the The Mentalist. It was weird seeing him in this role. It was nice that he truly felt bad about shooting the boy and wanted to help anyway he could. I don't see how he is going to escape the walkers at the medical trailer.

I'd seriously think about grabbing a humvee or ambulance from there to take. The ambulance would make a great fortified camper with lots of supplies to keep them safe from walkers in the night.

The girl on the horse was cute. Where do I know her from?

An ambulance would be great, but they went to the high school, not the hospital (or so I thought).

But there were at least two ambulances in the parking lot near the police cars.

For an episode where not much happened, the time moved really quickly for me. I liked this episode a lot. Lori's reaction upon seeing Carl really got to me.

They went to a FEMA station setup at the high school. There were 2+ cop cars, 2 ambulances, several humvees, and the medical supply trailer.

With the flashback in the beginning, I hope it doesn't become a trend and we get filler flashbacks. That would be annoying.

Regarding the farm and the eventual deconstruction of the episode at TCF, I thought, why haven't the people there created barriers for Zombies and traps? Some sort of fortification. Looks like a pretty vulnerable place.

Probably not the sort of thing you think about if you're not getting attacked...

Much, MUCH better episode than last week.

I really enjoyed this. At first I thought it was going to be a "Farmhouse" only episode, something different, that would have been interesting but it was good enough. It seems predictable that Otis will die in some kind of hero role.

I hate to point these flaws out but they guys at the RV weren't watching for zombies at all, where in week 1 they were on constant patrol.

ohhhhh...I forgot to mention the crystal meth part. I paused the TV to explain to my wife that blue crystal meth was "Heisenberg's" signature. Loved that detail.

I guess that will depend on how close they stay to the graphic novel (and how long the show itself survives).

I hate that kind of non spoiler / spoiler. Hinting at something that could go either way and just makes me confused and certainly wishing I hadn't read it.

I am just now catching up to speed on Breaking Bad on Netflix and immediately thought of Mr. Heisenberg when they showed the blue meth. I have only made it as far as 2/3 of season 3) I guess it has spread from the southwest into the southeast.

This episode was definitely better than the season premiere, but the people are still being pretty stupid overall.

Pretty strange that the zombies at the high school just seemed to be confined to the parking lot and had apparently be staggering back and forth in that small area for weeks. What is the explanation for why some zombies roam in herds (like in the season premiere) and others just stay put in a small area (like in this episode)?

The ambulance would be a nice grab, but it'd be tough to grab a new vehicle at the HS, what with all the zombies chasing them. And how do you know if the keys are in it? Aren't they likely to be in the pocket of a zombie walking around wearing an EMT uniform?

As for Humvees - they are all diesel (as far as I know), so finding gas is going to be a problem. Especially since they get like 4 mpg. :)

Probably either as Vivian Volkoff from Chuck, or as Bella the uber-hot catburglar/dealer from Supernatural.

    1. Chaos theory?
    2. They are subject to the needs of the writers, and they do as the plot demands?

    1. how was the house somehow a magical fortress which all these random zombies never discovered or attacked?

    2. I can buy the fact that maybe they'd stocked up on supplies and therefore had orange juice, but it's still a stretch

    3. why was the old man so jazzed up about finding "pink water" when they'd found a truckload of water jugs?

    4. there's a pickup truck sitting right in front of the RV, it's contents covered by a tarp. You'd think that tarp would be off by now.

    5. at least there were no superfluous monologues this ep.

It's in the middle of nowhere. There were no people there to begin with, and no reason for the zombies to wander in that direction.
