I see a lot of commercials for the new season in October. Is it worth it to go back and try to watch the previous seasons beforehand?

    Is it a good show?

Yes. If you can suspend the illogical nature of zombies. I think it is a very good show.

SPOILER - There be ZOMBIES... It is a pretty good show. I didn't regret the 6 hours I spent watching it.

I've never been a fan of the zombie genre at all and I love this show.

I love the show. It leaves me screaming "why would they... (fill in the blank)" a ton more than I think it should but it's still a great show.

No, it's not a good show.

It's a bloody brilliant great fantastic show, and by bloody, I mean it's literally really bloody, not like some British adjective like you hear in Harry Potter.:)

Yes, good stuff. Not on par with the quality of Breaking Bad, but good in its own, unique way...

And if you really wanted to you could skip the third and the second half of the fifth episodes.

Not a huge fan of the Zombie genre either - so I resisted the show for awhile. Glad my friends didn't relent. It's a super solid show.

I never watched Zombie movies. Too stupid. Teen age stuff. Then I watched Walking Dead, and it was so good I went back and watched all the old Zombie movies. It's awesome.

I have zero interest in zombies.

I watched this show only because it was filmed around my office building and I wanted to see all the downtown Atlanta locations. But I found myself drawn into the story and really liked it. I wouldn't call it "great," maybe "very good," but it was well done. Enough to make me keep watching and I will be watching it next season too. Even though I still think zombies are silly. :p

As Robert Kirkman (who wrote the comics the show is taken from) said, the title doesn't refer to zombies.

Right! The best part of the show is watching what "ordinary" people would do in an extraordinary situation. Fear us.
