I think Danica has a shot, too.

But I think it is going to be a Craig vs Matt showdown regardless of who else is there...

Agreed about it being Craig vs Matt. 3 weeks ago, I thought Craig had it locked up. Matt has absolutely crushed it the last 2 weeks and he is the front runner right now imo.

I think Sugar was actually best tonight.

Amish boy probably takes the 4th spot though

He ended up with both songs in top 10 and may have been in the top spot overall last night

I have to admit that I did not watch any of the performances for the potential wildcards last night.

Why? I can't see that it will make any difference. I think it still comes down to Matt or Craig.

I'm happy it was Damien. I threw my votes his way. Still thought Amish boy was gonna get it. Itunes was wrong on this one.

Adam having 3 against 1 for Blake probably helps Craig.

If they had a final with just two I think Matt would take it going awsy.

Totally agree with your first statement. I think Craig may take it for this reason alone.

Not sure I agree with your second statement - I still think it would be a horse race. 2 totally different types of singers/genres. It would really depend who votes...

I think they are both excellent. For me, it comes down to which one I would actually buy - and that would be Craig.

I know everyone's tastes are different...but for the record, here are the tracks that I have not bought yet, but plan on doing so from this season of The Voice:

    Damien
    - He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother
    - I’m Not the Only One
    - It’s So Hard To Say Goodbye to Yesterday

    Sugar Joans
    - I Say A Little Prayer
    - Back to Black

    Allison Bray
    - Merry Go ‘Round

    Luke Wade
    - That’s How Strong My Love Is
    - Have A Little Faith In Me

    James David Carter
    - Nobody Knows

    Reagan James
    - Put Your Records On

    So...

I thought it was a good finale.

Didn't love any of the original songs - it is so rare when these shows do original songs that work.

    Things I loved:

    Blake/Craig Duet - perfect for Craig's voice
    Adam/Chris Duet - perfect for Chris's voice
Craig "In Pictures" (this one made me cry)

Those were probably the highlights of the night for me.

I know Matt is good, but nothing he did tonight really blew me away the way some of his earlier performances did. The biggest surprise was Chris. He was spot on tonight. He might make this a three man race. I don't think Damian has a prayer.

Mathematically, I am not sure how it will go - as someone mentioned before, Adam having 3 finalists might hurt him if his voting block gets split.

Going to keep an eye on iTunes to see how it goes...that is usually a good indicator...

As always, I am rooting for Craig!

100% agree with the bolded. He really nailed it tonight. Not sure if its enough to get him the win though.

I usually don't like the original songs (at least on Idol - first time they have done this on the Voice) but I actually thought these were pretty quality tunes and each fit the artist well. Loved Matt's song Wasted Love. And thought Soldier was great for Damien even though it's not really my thing.

They are lighting up iTunes and it hasn't even aired on West Coast yet.

Matt's song is already at number one. But Chris may end up with two in the top 10 again. And Craig is at 5

I thought Over The Rainbow suffered from a bad mix/arrangement. He sang it well but the band was too prominent - if you are going to sing a stripped down version then the band/music should have been way more subtle.

Didn't love Craig all that much tonight - but that's just personal preference. I am more of a fan of his southern rock type stuff - would have loved a Tuesday's Gone or a Whipping Post. The duet he did with Blake is the kind of country tune I do not care for at all..

Chris definitely peaked at the right time. That is for sure.

I liked Adam's duets with Chris and Matt (I liked that song in the movie Begin Again as well).

I liked Matt and Craig's original songs the best.

Over The Rainbow was a bold, brave choice for Matt.

I am rooting for Matt to win but honestly would not be upset if Craig or Chris took it. I think they are all pretty worthy.

Damian? Definitely is a talent but as good as his voice is he just never clicked with me.

    My prediction:

    Craig
    Matt
    Chris
    Damian

I think it will be VERY tight between Matt and Craig

From what I saw last night, Craig had 4 of the 5 Top 5 spots on Country iTunes. I think the Country fans are going to vote hard. I think Matt and Chris may split Adam's vote...

    ITunes Spoilers

    Matt McAndrew - Wasted Love - # 1
Craig Wayne Boyd - My Baby's Got a Smile ON her Face - # 2
    Chris Jamison - Velvet - # 3
    Chris Jamison and Adam Levine - Lost Without U - # 5
    Damien - Soldier #8
Matt McAndrew and Adam Levine - Lost Stars - # 10
    Chris Jamison - Cry Me A River - # 11
    Craig Wayne Boyd - In Pictures - # 13
Matt Mcandrew - Somewhere Over The Rainbow - # 14
    Craig Wayne Boyd & Blake Shelton - Boots On - # 17
Damien & Adam Levine - Don't Let the Sun Go Down On Me - # 26
    Damien - A Song For You - # 41

Depending on How much they weight the ITunes top ten places this looks to be a horse race between Matt and Chris
Interesting to note but not relevant to tonight's results. Only Matt and Craig still have songs from other weeks hanging in on the top 50.

They get their vote multiplied by 10 for each song in the top ten at close of voting (but just for that song). So say you are at number 11 with 50K downloads but other guy is at 10 with 55K - former gets 50,000 votes while latter gets 550,000. So being in the top ten is HUGE.

Matt getting that second song at number 10 may squeak it out for him (since both he and Chris have 2 in the top ten) - plus I think that Wasted Love has at number one has sold significantly more downloads than the other artists selections (it hit number one super fast and has stayed there - plus it has three times the views on youtube over Craig's tune and twice as many as Chris')

Agree about vote splitting working in Craig's favor - but folks can put 10 votes for each artist per method so it's hard to know how much impact it will have.

I think when they announce the 3rd place artist if it's not Craig than that is going to mean Craig won. IOW imo he's first or third, but not second.
