    Lots of good performances tonight.

My choices for the final 4:

    Beverly (Team Christina)
Nakia (Team Cee-Lo) Although Vicci is right there too.
    Dia (Team Blake)
Casey (Team Adam) Javier is a close second.

Could go either way for Team Christina, but I think Frenchie edged Bev out.

Dia has a better stage performance, but Xenia has a better voice.

Casey rocked that song and made it as close as it possibly could be, but I think Javier edges her out.

But Vicci absolutely DESTROYED Nakia imo. She has a great voice and a great stage presence. I think she might have a good chance at beating Javier out.

I thought Frenchie was terrible. And my fav, Vicci, I did not see what the judges saw. Speaking of the judges...they're worse than AI with their criticisms!

I thought Blake's team was weak. Dia's choice of song, and her performance of it, was boring. She's a one trick pony. I love Xenia, but she looked scared to death up there.

The surprise was Casey. She might beat Javier with that performance. And, even though I don't care for the song, Bev did great. IMO, Nakia is the #2 performer, unfortunately, he's got the #1 performer on his team.

Don't forget to pad the results show tonight if you are recording - it will start and end late based on the length of the President's speech...

I doubt if that is true on the Pacific and Central time zone.

Did they ever explain how the live elimination worked with the live performances?

I mean - did all 8 of them rehearse to perform live last night or what?

I didn't like Frenchie's performance until the very end. I thought it was pretty bad for 80% of it.

I appreciate it. I checked my guide data this morning and I am affected (Central); however, since this is a scheduled speech, the guide data has allowed time for the speech (no idea if the time allotted will be correct though).

I thought the rehearsal of it was better than the performance.

If they had left it slow and let her belt and go gospel as they mentioned - - - instead they turned it into a kinda weird disco version.

btw...doesn't it seem like Blake just let's his team sing whatever song they want? I like that the other coaches (especialy C-lo) push them out of their comfort areas.

What are some songs you'd like to see the contestants perform?

    For me:
Xenia: Amy Winehouse's Rehab (although she's a little young to sing it), or The Carpenter's Superstar

Bev: I Will Always Love You (Whitney Houston version.) I think she could pull it off.

    Nakia: Howlin' Wolf's Smokestack Lightnin.

Javier: The Sounds of Silence. Not the Simon & Garfunkel tune. I just want him to be quiet. :)

Casey Weston: The Bangles Eternal Flame

    Vicci: Joan Jett's Bad Reputation

I didn't mean to be snarky. It did not affect the west and when I finished watching the live show they announced that the central time zone should not be affected. If it was, they were wrong.

They were wrong. Even with the allotment the Tivo guide gave it, it ran over. Glad I padded.
