Both programs are still TBA after my update at 16:40 EDT.
Both are new.
i now have been infected with the nbc late night tba bug, too, monday through friday - waiting to see if my ritual monday night 6pm forced connection provides a cure...
disappointing, the data was accurate and complete for the week a couple of days ago.
I sent in a form, but I have little hope.
tv.com is also bad.
Thanks for the update. Add me to the "TBA" instead of Fallon/Myers.
tonight's connection didn't update the guide for nbc 10:34pm - 2:00am central m-f this week, fingers crossed for tomorrow's update.
Corrected for me, this afternoon via a manual update (TiVo's own update this morning hadn't fixed it).
What a weird Guide data glitch--and so Rovi has a Guide data person assigned to the NBC 10:34 pm - 2 am slot, and he/she was hungover from the weekend?
Rovi, you can't have full Guide data info. even for the day (let alone the week or full 2-week period)?
I force a connection. Good now.
i've given up on pipe dreams, now forced to quietly pray in a corner that any guide glitches don't cause recording failures for me...
It's bad enough when the Guide uses generic program descriptions--at least OnePass will pick those up (I believe it will). But to not even list the show names in the time block--nothing for OnePass to catch.
Ah, that explains why they didn't record last night. Kudos, TiVo!
I hate to bring it up, but the CBS lineup for 9/29 is TBA. But that's a few days away.
i have a block of tba on cbs from 4pm & 6:30pm central, between football and 60 minutes, thankfully nothing to interrupt my tdl, but worth keeping an eye on in case it spreads.
btw, my nbc late night schedule updated during the mid-morning connection, and there was nothing new this evening, so it looks as if they pushed the correction quickly.
Sorry, I forgot to mention the TBA (which seems to be a widespread issue) is for the prime time on CBS. But If it's not fixed by Friday (9/27) I'll start a new thread.
my guide pushed out to 10/1 6pm central, and still shows tba on cbs from 4pm-6:30pm 9/29.
i just searched "to be announced," and found 7 other instances - 4 of them are cw & bravo 2-hour daytime movie slots 9/21, 9/28, & 9/29, 1 1-hour nbc 9pm saturday night slot 9/28 that's usually an snl repeat, and 2 30-minutes morning slots for children & paid programming - so, all in all, not too bad here.
I checked Gracenote and it doesn't have the premier of Madam Secretary. I'll wait until Monday to send it a bug report for that and NCIS:LA.
madam secretary se6 premier is oct 6th:
I've got _almost_ full guide data for CBS on 9/29. I have NFL football from 3-530pm MDT Vikings at Bears, 30 minutes of local news, 60 minutes (generic data but marked as new), God Friended Me S2E1, NCIS:LA S11E1, Madam Secretary (generic data but not marked as new).
GFM and NCIS:LA have full descriptions and are marked as new. Based on the just-posted info from NorthAlabama, looks like MdmSec isn't new, so that's accurate at least.
That's 11 days out. I'll wait a few days before I get worried. I record all three CBS primetime shows, and for MdmSec even repeats, padded an hour, to cover football overruns. CBS has an NFL doubleheader that day, so its a possibility.
i see ncis: la on 9/29 @ 8:30pm central:
madam secretary on 9/29 @ 9:30pm central is a repeat of the se5 finale, we have the se & ep info (i've set it to record).
