Solid episode...glad to see Christopher back in a full-blown storyline.
Happy to see AJ doing something besides wussing it up.
    Happy to see strippers :p
Glad to see things appearing to lead towards a big blowup.

I realize she's hot n stuff, but is there any real reason for Meadow to still be on the show?

Actually, I think that this is the first time since that episode a couple of years ago, where they killed the dancer, that there were strippers without "enhancements" present (though definitely not the one who asked AJ to dance). Great casting (for a change)!

So, AJ likes him some head cracking. I think he has found his calling now.

I can definitely see Christopher rolling on the whole deal. I think he almost did when Adrianna came to him, now he resents what he did and will do it a year later. Question is, can he resist the temptation as a witness to be into stuff. So many former wiseguys have shown they can't. Maybe movie fodder?

Chris is the typical "new mafia" guy...not old school, thinks he's more than what he really is, does drugs, ...etc.

exactly the guy described as the end of the mafia as we know it...the typical guy who sings like a canary when caught...

I wouldn't have spent $20 on a couch dance with any of the strippers in this episode. The main one looked like she had some serious mileage on her stripper odometer.

Now that AJ's not suicidal anymore, I hope that's the last I see of him until the closing montage of the last episode.

Chris killing the writer didn't make any sense to me.

Chris killing the writer didn't make any sense to me, too. Unless it was because he started to talk to him, tell him too much info, and got worried and killed him, to make sure he won't talk.

Don't understand what is up with the AJ story line. His two friends, all of a sudden want to be buddies with him? Because he's Tony's son? To help them, when they need to "collect" on debts?

I really thought Chris was going to off Pauley at the bar. Would have been well deserved!

it made sense to me...I totally expected Chris to kill him...he's a murderer and a scum, he was drunk...and the guy was a total d*ck to him...I could not see any way that scene would have ended except the way it did...

Chris is alienated and angry...he took his anger out on someone he can afford to kill...but it's also a setup for Chris talking to the FBI, I think...

Because he was drunk, Chris was also very sloppy...no gloves, and he very overtly touched the doorknob on the way out. I think Chris gets nailed for the murder, and that's the setup for him to turn witness against Tony and the gang. The resentment in Chris has been building up, even before he stopped hanging around due to the drinking...going back to season 5, with Tony and Tony B. always making fun of him...plus of course Adrianna.

The overtness of touching the doorknob was him pulling down his sleeve to wipe off his previous prints, not putting prints on there. At least I thought I saw him pulling his sleeve down.

I thought I saw him pull his sleeve down, too. BUT - still wonder... if they are going to bust him for the murder ... like smickola said earlier.

Maybe he did wipe off his fingerprints. But, let's see, the writer and Christopher working together, involved in the movie, girlfriend knows who Chris is, writer turns up shot in the head, who could have done it????? LOL

Chris used sleeve on exit but that doesn't necessarily mean that he totally wiped his earlier entrance prints on the doorknob. Plus he rang the door bell and probably touched other things in the apartment.

I'm still shocked that Chris killed the writer in cold blood. My memory is bad, has Chris been portrayed before as an impulse killer? Was his first kill the motorcycle gang they stole the wine from?

One thing I like about the Sopranos is that they portray these guys as they truly are - stupid. Other network shows sometimes show Mafia guys as criminal masterminds when in reality they're just dumb thugs.

No he has killed quite a few people. I forgot who it was that he made his bones on but he has killed others since then. He shot kid who held up the card game with Jackie Jr. and shot the guy who killed his father. There were more but memory escapes me like the gases from last nights Thai food.

This show takes so much time off between seasons, I'm lucky to remember the main characters, let alone what they did three seasons ago.

My wife thinks that Tony slept with AJ's fiancee. I don't remember them showing this in previous episodes? Did they? Was it implied?

I just had to rewatch this epsiode.
    Lots of stuff in there.

This episode really made me sad that it's ending.
I would have loved to see them groom AJ into a made man.

After the beatdown, AJ came home wired and relatively happy.
What does that mean? He's found something that gives him pleasure....and that something is "the life?"

We've seen enough guys get whacked to know you drop your gun right there. (after preparing it so it dosn't have your prints on it.) Chris didn't do that.

Chris was drunk. We've seen Chris do a lot of stupid, self-destructive, impulsive things while drunk or high. It seemed completely in character.
