Impressive. I really enjoyed it from start to end. I totally think that Danny's baby is Vic's.

Is it possible Catherine Dent is pregnant in real life? I did a quick search but did not find anything.

I could be wrong, it wouldn't be the first time. :) I believe the commercials I've seen have said "The beginning of the end", which is very vague. If someone has seen something official I would love to read it for their reasons for ending the series, etc.

I could be wrong also but I think that there are 22 episodes this year. They are calling it one season but they are splitting into two 11 epsiode "seasons" in winter/spring and summer/fall.

I had to pause it there to read all the entries. My favorite: Gilroy's liver.

So forgive me for not remembering all of last season and being too lazy to look it up, but did Lem officially transfer back to the Barn? And what happened to Armie? Man, I can't believe how much I've forgotten since last summer. :)

how could people w/o recording devices ever see all this stuff? They go to all the trouble to put these details in and it's a shame only a small % of the population can actually appreciate it

Awesome episode! I am really looking forward to the interaction between Mackey and Forest Whitacker's character....should be alot of fireworks!

Question - who was the guy they were beating up in the parkeing garage at the end of the show?

    15 mins...
Forrest Whitaker's character's mannerisms remind me of when he played Charlie Parker in Bird.

Man, Dude's just trying to buy a 40 and next thing he knows he's got Vic's gat all up in his grill.

Can someone explain Aceveda's motivation to help bring Vic down? He's not Captain any more. That, and Vic'll kill him.

He's had it in for Vic since day one. Plus, Cavanaugh (Whitaker) said it to him -- you'll look great to the public because even though you're not still captain, you still care and want to clean up the department. Cleaning up police corruption will help his rep with the voting public.

Maybe vic saw his gun and prevented the robbery?

My guess is Ace would look pretty bad if it was proven that vic did naughty things under the nose of his capt. Either he didn't know what was going on, (that's bad) or he knew about it and did nothing (that's bad). But if he tried to get vic fired for a few years, but failed, that could potentially look like he was just playing out his cards and 'waiting to strike.'
