I loved that - brilliant touch! The instant Creed blurted out with "Hank - the security guard's name is Hank," I felt sure he had to be right. Creed would make sure he was in with the security guard in case he ever needed him for something (like sneaking in the office at night for some less-than-honorable purpose), so of course would know his name.

And the later shots of Meredith's face all puffy and scratched up red were hilarious.

Can we get back on topic? this isn't a Lost thread.

That being said, ONE PERSON made a thread crapping reference. Nobody that I have seen has said "leave the thread." Sure people have disagreed, and said "I think the shows have been great!" but if those are getting under your skin, get some thicker skin.

Because it is neither here nor there, I felt I would spare everyone in here the details of what exactly transpired. That said, I still believe that my prediction is on the money. And my corresponding graphic was sweet.

I 'seriously' do think that LOST has slipped, and that season 1 was in fact better. Seriously.

The problem here, which you seemed to have skipped over in your feral-rage (this guy who dissed lost is back- get him!!!), its not that people responded to what I said (this is a forum, there will be no responding!). It's the nature of the response that was insane. It is one thing to disagree; but to say that you do not belong, or should not be here because your opinion goes against the grain.

I said my piece in that thread and let it die (epic hit to the internet ego) when I realized that people were losing sleep over the idea that somebody out there thinks this show is on its way.

Would you say this episode of The Office was more gaunt or goth?

The exact quote was "If I'm dead, you guys have been dead for weeks." Sorry, the original wording is just funnier. :)

I also LOVED Dwight's question to the "hobbit": "Do you live in a regular sized house?" in a near-shouting voice. :D

Jim's line something to the effect of, "you ARE the African-American......who am I speaking to?" made me crack up.

You're not crazy. Some people feel that if the episode is not the greatest ever than it's "mediocre".

ex-wife. But you're right about the kid(s?), he's sticking around.

That scene was SO painful! Him trying to be casual, Pam's look of horror, everyone stopping to stare. *cringe*

The Christmas money was strange, although I got that no one donated, not that they gave Jim money and he just didn't give it to the guard. The phone was completely and totally unlike Michael. Jim was painfully aware every moment of how asinine he sounded and just couldn't dig his way out. Michael would have skipped in gleefully.

Ryan: No! [sits up] Guys. I think my friend Troy might have a drug problem. What do I do?
Dwight Schrute: I think his species might have a higher tolerance than ours.

I thought it was a great ep...very funny stuff...only complaint is that no way that little lock would have slowed me down...I'd drive my car slowly through the gate until the lock broke...all those guys are crazy enough to do that...

toby almost pole vaulting the fence was awesome :D

+1. I don't get how anyone could say an episode was 'horrible'. They were all at least 'pretty good'.

Pam: "Don't use the good peanut butter. People will get mad."

And Michael on the phone with his mom while at a club? "Mom, I gotta go. My friend's getting beaten up by some girls."

Saw the episode for a 2nd time last night and it was just as good! Dwight's fascination with Ryan's friend, Troy, was hilarious! Nice how "sober" Ryan became when Michael mentioned taking Ryan's clothes off!

Oh, and Michael giving his "rah-rah" speech at the group meeting earlier only to say "TDB" instead of "TBD" - funny with his amount of confidence! :p

And Ryan standing beside him with just the tiniest, most subtle little smirk/smile. Perfect.
