Or just edit the PDF of your boarding pass from a previous trip to make it plausible for today. It won't get you on the plane, but in many airports it is still good enough to get past security.

    Oh, BTW: Don't do that.

Andy was wearing Nantucket Red pants with whales, for those interested. They are definitely a distinctive style.

I felt the ending was meh. Will Ferrel has been a huge waste. The character he has been playing could have been done by anyone. Why they didn't use Will in the style he plays well, I don't know.

I definitely don't see this lasting much longer the way its been going lately...

The word "understated" has been used several times to describe this episode and I think that's a perfect description. It was also, IMO, perfect in it's execution.

For a show that's been deliciously over-the-top at times, they reigned it in for the sendoff and it worked suprisingly well.

I got a gate pass a month ago to help wife and 2 young kids get to their gate. It wasn't overly necessary, but I just asked if it was possible and voila, I had a gate pass.

edit - I had to show my drivers license, but that was it.

And guys, for that matter, he was flying out of what? Scranton? (wilkes barre/scranton airport?) I mean, what kind of security can there be... :)

I was subject to a much more thorough search when I flew out of the small airport in Missoula, MT last summer than I EVER have been anywhere else. They even confiscated something from me (can't remember what it was...maybe a nail clipper?...)

Interesting. I used to go thru the small airport at Providence RI in 2001 and 2002 and TSA was not doing anything really intense to search us. Of course that was almost 10 years ago, but it was after 9/11.

Oh yeah. I find the smaller the airport, the more security you get.

Haven't flown out of there in a while, but Bloomington, IL, it'd be very hard to get past security-not in small part because it'd be very obvious you did it, with so few people there.

Yes. (In fact, prior to "this day and age," there was no such thing as a "gate pass.") I once did it at the San Diego airport when I wanted to make absolutely sure my grandfather actually got on a flight. I'm sure someone who looked like Jenna Fischer wouldn't even need to have a grandfather with her.

This is "The Office." It's practically a cartoon. Are you seriously debating whether or not that plot point was "believable?"

Actually I read the Scranton Strangler might played by
Will Arnett since he is guest starring in one the three remaining episodes this season. Even though I think he make great replacement for Michael. Also Kathy Bates is set to return this season.

I agree that the Will Ferrell character has been inconsistent episode-to-episode but he has had some funny moments. The sales call in this episode was awesome. I was almost in tears when he asked the client if he's ever played Russian Roulette and called him Boris.

Unfortunately (for me, I guess), I didn't find that scene (or any other he's been in) funny at all. I'll be glad when he's gone...and, generally, I like the movies he's been in. This character/show is just not a good fit for Ferrell...

I'm pretty sure you'd be the minority on thinking this character is funny. I am a HUGE Will fan too. I love all his films, even the stupid funny ones. I'm sorry but he is just not funny on this show. At. All.
