Along with Parks and Rec this week I had a lot of laughs on this one. I liked that Jim wrote the book on Garden Parties and suckered Dwight into buying it on eBay. This feel more like the Jim of old than the last few weeks.

All the stuff he had Dwight doing was great! Yelling out the names as people entered, the dancing, the closing ceremonies :D

And poor Andy :( His parents suck.

Finally got to watch this last night and I thought it was pretty good. Did feel sorry for Andy, though.

I'm liking this season so far although I could use less Mr. California.

Garden Party. Great book that Dwight used. Jim is a great author - How did he find time to write a book of that length and then only do one copy? Suspension of disbelief... ;)

Funny show, but I was cringing during some Andy & parents scenes. Not cringing because it was bad, but because of how bad it was for Andy.

I was hoping for a Marillion reference in the episode, but I wasn't really expecting there to be one, so I wasn't too disappointed. :)

    Classic Office awkwardness and discomfort.

That was very, very uncomfortable to watch, and I mean that in a good way. The Office has always been great at this, I'm glad to see they haven't lost that.

I love that Andy's brother was played by Josh Groban.

I really love what they're doing with Andy. I'm really glad they chose him as the new boss. He's got Michael qualities, but the opposite of Michael's lack of self-awareness.

    It's very endearing.

Have no idea what you're talking about (and am not bothering to look it up at the moment).. but there is a Beatles lyric (song?) "Yes, we're going to a garden party..."

I like Moes trying to park cars then trying to jumping them.

    Agree with both comments.

Kinda like the new office. Not nearly as much as the early seasons, but still a good time.

You're probably thinking of Rick Nelson's Garden Party

No, he's thinking of the line in The Beatle's "Birthday" that says, "Yes, we're going to a party party."

I nearly fell out of my chair when Mose took the car from Toby, burned out down the road, and then buried it in a cornfield at full speed. That was brilliant.

Argh, I've been mishearing it all along? I guess I maybe had heard the other Garden Party song(s) and was then mishearing this... I guess it didn't really make sense to me that they would say party twice, so my brain tried to fill in something else.
