Yeah this was a pretty good episode...they seem to be back on track.

Somehow I don't think Creed will last too long where he is... :D

    Great episode!

I see that Jo got some new dogs. She used to have Great Danes. Was this change ever mentioned or noticed before?

Toby getting into the HR accident stuff was fun and Dwight coming in the conference room trying to do Michael doing a character was great.

Gabe is getting to be a d-bag though.

Agreed...they really need to get rid of him...he's a useless character at this point.

    Great episode.
Good amounts of comedy (Dwight giving Kevin a massage was hysterical) and some emotion (Jim feeling sorry for Dwight when told he'd never be a manager) made this a very good episode.

And Creed Bratton, Acting Regional Manager?

I loved that - especially after Jo had told the group to watch out for her dogs and their humping each other even though they are brothers....

Somehow, I bet Creed won't be sitting in Michael's old office on next week's episode.

What's Jordan going to do? She was hired to be DeAngelo's assistant. But he's gone. Does she stay? (I hope so. She's hawt)

Little suprsied that Jim didn't think the acting manager job would be offered to Dwight.

    People's...
She's going to be Creed's mole in the office. :)

What's Creeds relationship to firearms? He seemed awful eager to help Dwight get rid of the gun.

Gabe is so into horror movies, I wonder if he is the Scranton Strangler?

Much better episode than recent weeks with Ferrell. I really hope the new manager is a promotion from within, since this ensemble already works really well together. I think trying to add a new actor to the mix has the potential to really screw up the dynamic.

    Didnt they catch him already?

They have to be building to something with Gabe. His character seems to go off the rails more and more every week.

Yeah... They had the trial for the Scranton Strangler. Toby was on the jury. Gabe can't be the Scranton Strangler. He was in the office when the trial was going on.

We've discussed this in a previous episode thread, but Toby mentioned that they convicted the Scranton Strangler, but that he is now having second thoughts about the jury's decision and thinks they may have convicted the wrong guy.

    Hmmm... I missed that....

But wasn't the Scranton Strangler doing his thing long before Sabre bought Dunder Mifflin? Gabe didn't show up until then.

According to Dunderpedia, the Scranton Strangler was first mentioned in S06E17. Sabre took over in S06E15.

And do we know where Gabe was prior to Sabre buying DM? Presumably, he was working for Sabre, but we don't know for sure that he wasn't already in Scranton, right?

That's a great way to get rid of Gabe...maybe his psychoness will spill out into an unforeseen event that gets rid of him ala DeAngelo.
