Is Jim getting scammed?
I hope so, and I hope Pam and him get a divorce. Is that wrong?
It's either a scam or his offer was ridiculously low and he will be embarrassed at some point later on when he learns that the others are all in for at least six figures.
Based on how the Office seems to work, and that they are setting everyone up for a happy ending, I think Pam will be all PO'd about the investment, which will ultimately turn into millions by the finale.
I just made that up though, I have no insight.
That was my take on it. He should have talked to his friend about it before the actual meeting. It seems like everyone else did.
I liked Andy as George Michael, but didn't get why his warblers were there.
I thought Andy said they were having a concert nearby.
The group didn't want to do any 1990's George Michael songs because they were old songs, but yet they did 'Car Wash' from 1976. Yeah.
That was my take as well. That the others were all in for significantly more than that and just humored him when he put in $10K to protect his feelings.
However, it is pretty lame of Jim to invest $10K into a business and not know what kind of percentage that gets him and not to even be curious about the finances of the business.
I think Jim is so worried about being a sales drone and not accomplishing anything at his age, that he's rushing to try to prove he can become this huge business partner/tycoon and it's clouding his judgement.
That is my feeling too, like he and Pam can finally quit "The Office" and she can paint and he can-do-whatever he wants!
Most if not all of the members of the a capella group looked like real members of a real a capella group, rather than actors. They had no idea what to do or where to look half the time.
"I'm the electoral college." Groan.
At least Andy was written like Andy and not like Michael this week.
My favourite part was Creed's silent "that's what she said" in the background after the new kid said "there's no way you're making this magic with just your mouths."
Oscar and the Senator kissing.
And I liked Oscar's costume.
I saw Creed's not knowing it was Halloween coming from a mile away the second I saw his bloody shirt, but it was still awesome.
Sometimes the funniest jokes are the ones you know are coming.
Sports marketing is a scam in real life and should be on the show as well.
Jim lost 10k and Pam will be very upset.
Wild ass theory:
Creed will be revealed as the true Scranton Strangler.
No one among my friends caught that.
Jim used to talk a lot about how this was just a job and he had no plans on this being his career. He thought he would have move on to bigger and better things by now. He realized this is his last chance to make a change or he will be stuck at DM forever.
Maybe, but I know a lot of 'sales drones' that make a lot more money than I do.
