Anybody know when the next one will air? Am I going to have to live through the whole summer without it?

It won't have a summer season this year. It's back in midseason.

If you can't wait until January, and you've already watched TAR Asia, there's always the Brazilian version A Corrida MilionĂ¡ria starting 13 de Outubro.

CBS has stated that the next Amazing race will start in January, but they also left the door open that it might start earlier as a replacement for a canceled fall show.

It's very easy-- simply speak slowly and loudly with an Armenian accent. Don't forget to add -o to the end of random words.

Ooops! Yeah, Portuguese. (I knew that, really. I did.)

Looks like they're eliminating the non-elimination next time.

I gave up on AR last season after CBS kept messing with the show times.

Until they learn to properly schedule sporting events and allow a postgame wrap up show that pads out to a normal airtime, AR will remain off my scheduled recordings list.

That's great news, but where did you see it? Can you provide a link? Does this mean the show will be a few episodes shorter or will they start with more teams? I'd hate to see the show be shorter, but it's already hard to keep all the teams straight for the first few episodes. Adding in more teams would make it even harder.

Since NFL overruns tend to increase ratings for the late-starting shows that follow it, you're only hurting yourself.

Amazing Race is a show that is watchable in any language, whether you know it or not.

With how cheap reality shows already are, I've wondered why networks didn't at least TRY airing foreign reality shows once in a while.

Even if they only did ones from England or Australia (so as to avoid dubbed voices, or GASP, subtitles), it seems like it would be ultra-cheap. Though I realize that network show reruns apparently provide some of the cost of the show's original creation.

It would be interesting to see the original show that Survivor was based upon, or the British Big Brother, etc..

I get so annoyed when they have a show or report with people from England or Australia and they have the bad taste to sub title them speaking English. Come on, I mean, how hard is it? Maybe I have an ear for accents, but I never have a problem understanding English speakers, and when I don't know a word, you know what? I can usually figure it out by the context.!!!
