I learned it via the action figure promo (1979)

I was saved the agony of the Star Wars Holiday Special when the character debuted. Missed on it's intial air, and it was never on home video. Didn't see it until sometime in the 90s.

And I always cringe whenever Carrie Fisher sings Star Wars in it.

That's not Bulloch. That's from the re-shoots they did for the Special Editions. This is guy is only in about 3 shots.

This is Bulloch from the ESB shoot...

I hope they give Jon Favreau the reigns.

Maybe. Favreau makes me nervous. I mean, he's the guy who gave us Iron Man.

But he's also the guy who gave us Iron Man II.

    ;)

Dave Filoni is the true mastermind behind the scenes.

    The Filoniverse is the future.

The Empire had 20+ years to erase the memory of the Jedi. They controlled the schools, the news and access to sources of information. "History is written by the victors." Luke was the only Jedi active at the tail end of the Rebellion.

The quick forgetting of the Jedi is something that I've also had a lot of trouble with. And even this explanation, sorry, it just doesn't really work for me. Make it more like 100 years? Sure. But 20 years is just too short a period - too much within the life span of people currently living. 20 years is more like "Oh yeah, I remember when Palpatine declared the Jedi as bad people and purged them from the universe" and not "I know there's legends of Jedi, but I don't think they've ever existed".

I watched the Docuseries on the Mandalorian.. I think Filoni is the real brain child of the story lines, and leads the pre-animation they do before they film. Favreau adds some polish and I think he was the one who really spear headed building their super fancy sound stage that makes the Mandalorian feel so otherwordly even though it's shot in front of giant screens.

The way this show is created is really like something else and it's more of a team effort of directors for every step of the process..

Ahsoka was expected, but after her appearance I was expecting a show for Bo-Katan Kryze with Katee Sackhoff. Maybe she'll tie into The Mandalorian more...

I’m curious to see what that means. Darth Vader is a guy in a suit with James Earl Jones’s voice. Besides, Hayden is shorter than David Prowse was and looked silly in the “NOOOOOOOOO!” Suit

I had the same thoughts. I can't see them bringing him back only to hide him in a suit. Flashbacks perhaps, but real time makes very little sense to me.

Hayden Christianson is coming back as "Darth Vader". That probably means no flashbacks. What time frame would flashbacks even happen? More Clone Wars?

Remember, Darth Vader was born before he went into the suit.

But, I'm not sure there's that much time there to explore.

Also, as of now, there is no known meeting between Vader and OB1 between Mustafar and the Death Star.

Hayden Christensen will join Ewan McGregor in the upcoming Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi. It will take place 10 years after their fateful duel on Mustafar.

Yah, I just read 10 years...So who knows what's going on. I was thinking maybe he haunts OB1, or something like that, because his turn to the dark side really did haunt him for his whole life after.
