As long as it's not Mace Windu!
Has he landed yet?
Have the Dark Troopers appeared in anything other than video games?
Acccording to Wookieepedia, aside from a cameo in a short comic, it's all video games.
I'm not hopeful Luke would make an appearance in the show, I could be wrong. The Dark Troopers looked interesting.
I agree Boba Fett seeming to hate or be weary of The Empire seemed weird.
Palpatine paid his dad to be the donor DNA for the clone army
Obi Wan Mace Windu (enemy of palpatine) killed his dad
Luke (padawan of Obi-Wan, and enemy of Palpatine) started the battle that got him knocked into the snarlak pit.
Darth Vader (Palpatine ally) paid him off when he tracked Han and helped try to trap Luke in carbonite.
It would seem Boba Fett would be pro empire. I missing something? I havent watched any of the cartoons or played any of the games.
There have also been rumors about an Obi Wan series era young Luke. Would be kind of cool to have 2 Lukes going
Aren't we are dealing with the Outer Rim. I could see where the Jedi is forgotten, or really never even known in a lot of places.
All of our knowledge is missing probably 5 years. Anything could have happened.
Boba Fett was a bounty hunter. A hired gun. If he made a deal with Mando to help him protect the kid he would honor it.
It was Mace Windu that beheaded Jango Fett.
There seems to be some retconning with this episode. Am I correct that Boba said his dad was Mandalorian in this episode? If so that contradicts a Clone Wars episode ("The Mandalore Plot") where Obi-Wan asks the Mandalorian leader about Jango and is told he was not Mandalorian and he didn’t know where Jango got the armor.
Perhaps Almec didn't recognize foundling conversions so didn't consider Jango "part of the tribe"?
The rock formation of the Seeing Stone thing is reminiscent of Vader’s sleeping pod to me. Also, when searching for an image of the sleeping pod, I learned it is called a meditation pod:
My 10-year-old grandson nearly went hysterical as we watched the post ep artwork and it showed Grogu screaming in mid air as he was being hauled away.
Obi wan didn't kill Jango Fett, it was Mace Windu. It was during the big battle at the end of Attack of the Clones.
I noticed that too. It was distressing.
I just want to confirm, that was Slave 1 right?
I think we're all assuming that?
I will say this only once, but here goes -- I'm not an intense Star Wars fan like many of you (and of course millions others). First season of this show I thoroughly enjoyed. Second season I feel that I (and other very casual SW fans) are being seriously left behind. All of you who are so into the Star Wars stuff can string all these characters and references together, but many of us who aren't are just confused. 90 percent of what you all are discussing here is beyond me. That's not to say I don't enjoy it, and I will keep watching. The production is top notch. Season one was pretty much free of all that stuff and was great entertainment (without having to hurt your head to figure things out). Season two simply is not.
