Disney legend Ming Na
They should officially name her a Disney Princess!
She was 51 at the time...
It seems several leaks online have made it clear, there will be both an S3 of Mando, and The Book of Boba. Two separate series. But probably around the same time.
They are only called "leaks" because they're not official Disney spokespeople.
I don't remember if I posted it here, or if I just said it talking to my son, but I called Luke when they mentioned that a Jedi would have to take Baby Yoda. I think it was he episode where they met the other Jedi with the crazy curly head (sorry, I am really bad remembering names). As soon as the X-Wing showed up in THIS episode, I said to my other son (who's familiar with but not as obsessive about Star Wars) who was watching with me, it's Luke! Then, green light sabre and mowing down the troopers as if they were nothing, and the cape cover, and I KNEW it was him. So I wasn't shocked it was him as much as thrilled, happy and loving it! Then R2D2 shows up, and that was a great WOW for me. This season was just terrific.
Funny that Mando, when he removed his helmet (both last episode and this) looks EXACTLY how i pictured him (I had never seen the actor before). Looking so forward to a new season...why does it have to be so long from now!
This article sums up exactly what I have felt about this series and why I love how they are doing it so much:
‘The Mandalorian’ Season Finale: A Force to Be Reckoned With
There's enough for the Star Wars nerds who've watch and read everything about it, and for me, who's seen the movies and nothing more.
To this day, there are those who do not think Sun was having an affair with her language tutor...
Loved the episode.
Mando spaces the robots and I go "Oh come on, those are robots and they have thrusters and they don't need air, why wouldn't they just fly back?". A few minutes later ... "Uhhhh, okay..."
Went "squeeee! It's gotta be Luke Skywalker..." when the X-wing started flying in.
Luke takes off hood and I go, "Squeeeee! It is Luke Skywalker..."
Mando hands baby Yoda (he will always be baby Yoda to me) off, takes off helmet to say goodbye and I tear up. (Stupid show making me all emotional...)
I could not believe he sent off Grogu and did not give him his favorite toy! (the ball knob)
Am I the only one who has watched the last quarter of the episode more than a dozen times?
I'm curious about the kind of thinking that places the killer-robot storage facility...in an airlock.
I assume it is so they can land and deploy them directly from their storage/charging docks.
And don't even THINK of telling me they cannot land, since you would clearly be incorrect, based on my logic.
But more seriously, they do get deployed directly in space, as was shown in the previous episode when they were "launched" to go get Grogu. So the airlock makes sense.
I kept thinking of the knob as well but he didn't hand it over. Maybe it's for the best so Grogu can detatch emotionally from Mando and be a better Jedi. I'm sure we'll see it in future episodes to show us he's still thinks of Grogu.
It's been Mando and Grogu since the start though. I know he needs Jedi trained but I don't want to watch a show with them separated. I'm very sad.
Pretty much settles this ...
‘The Mandalorian’ Creator Reveals Details Of ‘The Book Of Boba Fett’
I get the connection, but honestly, I'm fine if Mando moves on to a new adventure. The show is about Mando, not Grogu. I get Grogu was cute, but that story is over now. He's been passed to a Jedi for training (which was the mission). Now, lets see what his new mission is? When you think about it, Grogu could have been Mando's Fonzie. The character that steals the show from the star. So Mando moving on to the next thing might be the best for Mando's story. And make it more interesting.
Mando is now the owner of the Dark Saber. That, right there, has to be where the story goes.
Maybe it’ll be another show for grogu. But Grogu might be an important character in the galaxy for another 800 years, and Mando is just a guy. I don’t really see them ignoring Grogu for the foreseeable future.
