I know I've seen at least 2 different sources confirming it as a series, it's just almost impossible to track them down in the massive amount of Mandalorian postings this weekend.

Luke's appearance was spoiled for me, but I hadn't considered that R2 would be there. So awesome!

When the X-Wing arrived and he got out with his cloak and green light saber I screamed “It’s LUKE!!!” But it wasn’t until I saw the glove and lightsaber that I knew for sure. When he pulled the cloak back I was just so elated.

Would have been so different if I had been spoiled.

I wasn’t spoiled, but it was fairly obvious that’s what they were building up to for the last few episodes. I thought maybe he’d show up in a post credit scene or something, but once the entire battalion of dark troopers showed up I knew a Jedi would have to show up to bail them out so once the X-wing showed up I immediately assumed it was Luke. It was still exciting though to see how they pulled it off.

It’s too bad Boba left as it would have been interesting to have those two meet again.

Yeah I knew a Jedi would show up, but wasn’t expecting them to go all in with Luke Skywalker.

Sebastian Stan (Winter Soldier) could easily become Luke and setup a nice long series of Luke has been up to. I’d love that!

To be fair, though, I think more of the blame for the failings of the sequel trilogy falls on Rian Johnson (and Disney, whose brilliant idea it was to have three different directors do the trilogy without having a plan, or anybody in charge).

YES! They did the exact opposite of what they had done successfully with the Marvel movies. Which is so weird.

Yah. It’s like having somebody other than the Russos direct Endgame.

I half-expected Boba Fett to try to kill Luke or at least confront him. It was the Jedi that killed his father and Luke was the reason he got eaten in ROTJ. But I guess after seeing Luke go through all the dark troopers he had second thoughts.

Fett wasn't there? He bailed after "attacking" the captured ship.

??? Boba was never on the cruiser with them. He went to light speed and left as the others were crash landing on the Imperial cruiser.

Boba Fett was no where around when Luke made his entrance. He took off once the shuttle crash landed on the cruiser, not to be seen again in the episode until the post credit scene. He obviously came by to pick up Fennec Shand at the very least since she was there at Jabba's Palace with him.

And I suspect that might be part of the reason they decided to have Boba Fett elsewhere during that scene...because they needed him to survive.

    "What, YOU again?!?" Whoosh whoosh.

    RIP, Boba Fett. Again. :D

Guess I mistaken one of the other Mandalorian for Boba. Could have sworn I saw him in the control room.
