    HOLY COW THAT WAS AMAZING

So glad I watched this before I read spoilers, oh man, just WOW

SO EPIC, I could have never imagined how awesome that could have been :D

Disney is NOT playing games with Disney+, The Mandalorian is the best Star Wars piece since the original trilogy, no joke.

When The Mandalorian was announced and came out, everybody was expecting a cool space western with a cool character.

And then the end of episode 1 happened, and the series' expectations totally changed. It went from a bounty hunter in the outer rim, with no connection to the rest of the Star Wars world, to something deeply involved and drawing on everything we've ever seen in Star Wars. It was one of the biggest 180's I've ever seen in any show.

So can we go back to a cool space western in the middle of nowhere? Where nothing really matters to us? I don't think so.

Will they just leave Baby Yoda out of most episodes, because Jedi training is a bit boring to watch? Maybe? But after what's happened in the past year with him?

Will they jump ahead to get to a time where important things are happening? That's my guess.

Favreau & Filoni get to play in the Star Wars toy box from every incarnation of Star Wars. Luke is the toy you keep in a glass case. Only for special occasions.

Can they resurrect & rehabilitate Boba Fett, having him help our hero, and then go become the boss in Jabba's Palace. Sure why not. It's their galaxy now.

Holy crap! I did not see that coming. Way to end the season. We finally see Luke in his prime. Makes up for the shabby way he was treated in the sequels somewhat, but not completely.

So does this mean Grogu dies when luke's temple is destroyed by Kylo Ren? Does Luke know about Ashoka? Does she know about him? Imagine what she could tell Luke about his father. That's a show I'd watch.

I'm surprised that Luke wasn't more surprised about another of Yoda's species being around.

Who saved Groku from order 66 and where have they been?

I imagine the fight for the darksabre is going to be more for show than a real fight. Just enough that Bo-Katan can legitimately win it back. What happens with Moff Gideon now? Where does the series go from here? So many questions.

And a new Boba Fett series? Holy Crap # 2!

Moff Gideon is going to be given alive to the New Republic for the reward and face trial (if he doesn’t escape).

Ok that was amazing, but I have a question, did they just CGI young Mark Hamill and then dub in his voice? I noticed he was credited.
Jon Favreau and Filoni should just helm ALL of the Star Wars projects. They REALLY know what they're doing!

Awesome episode, my only disappointment is that when Mando went to get Bo-katan's help, he didn't also try to get Ahsoka to help him. Ahsoka meeting Luke would have been epic. Of course, with Jedi being somewhat OP, there would have been less drama, and less of an impact of Luke's timely arrival.

And I only have a vague recollection of how Bo-katan got the darksaber in the animated series, but I don't remember a real challenging fight to get it. The rule that she needs to earn the right to wield it seems to be something new?

By defeating Gideon and "winning" the Darksaber, he's now MADE it his quest. He tried multiple times to hand it to her, but although they can always show their faces, her sect has to acquire the Saber in combat.

Except she originally acquired it when it was given to her. She didn’t win it in combat.

That was a pretty awesome season finale. No cliffhanger but there is the big question of what they are going to do in S3. Have the dark saber and the throne to Mandalore be the focus? (I assume Bo-Katan has beskar armor so she's fine but then again, you would think Moff Gideon would know she can't be hurt with a simple blaster.)

This was awesome! The Dark Troopers were great. I can accept Luke going through them like a knife through butter but you can tell that they'd demolish everybody else.

It was great seeing Luke but I almost jumped out of my chair when R2 rolled in.

Baby Yoda put millions of dollars into Disney's pockets. I doubt if he'll be missing from season 3 for long.

I just started season 3 of the Clone Wars animated series. I had never watched it or Rebels. I started Clone Wars after the Ahsoka episode of The Mandalorian because I wanted to know more about the backstory of characters like her that I had never heard of before. She's actually really important. I'm going to rewatch both Mandalorian seasons but I want to finish Clone Wars and watch Rebels first so I have some idea who these new to me characters are.

I started watching clone wars again a few weeks ago. I had watched a little bit of it with my nephews when it originally ran.

I’ve been using this list to watch the episodes in the correct chronological order, since they were aired out of order.

If I watch in this order, will I miss character introductions? Often in a show's first episodes, we learn who is who.

Sometimes, stupid networks show shows out of the order that they were made. These are just out of chronological order.

They're only "out of order" in the same way that Episode I: The Phantom Menace takes place before Episode IV: A New Hope. For the first time watching, just watch in season and episode order.

They weren't aired "out of order"; they just jumped around in time a lot (especially early on; it was originally conceived as an anthology-type show). You'll notice that with Season 4 they abandoned that storytelling technique and just told a continuous narrative.

Am I the only one that almost cried seeing Mando remove his beskar helmet just for BY? I was so happy to see Luke. I really didn't see that coming, right up until the reveal. Glad I didn't get spoiled on it! I'm so bummed at the same time that Mando is without Grogu now. They are a team. I wanted the mission of searching for others like him to continue on, as amazing as it was seeing this all happen in the finale.

But it wasn’t announced whether it’s a separate show or season 3 of the Mandalorian.

All the news site are simply reporting what was shown. The title, the two characters in it and the release date. Disney hasn’t provided any more details, so some are saying it’s a new series and others aren’t.
