    ...And Mark Hamill

I can't even. I wasn't sure exactly what they did there. Probably the best they could, and he might not be back.

But wow, the whole episode was amazing.

The anticipation for exactly who the Jedi was made my heart palpitate. I mean, green saber, Jedi garb, and then I saw the glove. But I still wasn't 100% sure, he looked a bit young. But then R2

All the fight scenes were great, I really really liked Moff Gideon-Mando.

And Luke just tore through those Dark Troopers like butter.

Is the Book of Boba Fett Boba Fett Season 1, or Mando season 3?

I am so glad that I was spoiler free. I’ve joked for a while that they would do something like this, but I wasn’t sure if they actually would. It’s the only way they could have ended the “Baby Yoda” story. Sending him off with some random Jedi wouldn’t have been satisfying.

I had forgotten that you had to win the Dark Saber in battle.

That actually bothered me a bit. He looked more like his daddy in that sequence. When did Luke have that amount of power?

I agree, this is 5 years after ROJ. He did some major training.

Also I would expected his reaction to meeting someone of Yoda's species to be a little more enthusiastic.

This sets up the possibility that...

Grogu dies in Luke’s Jedi training temple.

For those that don't know, there is a post credits scene, that this comment is in reference to. I will take as much Star Wars as Disney+ will give me. Hoping it is season 1 of a Boba Fett spinoff, and we get to keep seeing want Mando is up to.

I like to think that when Artoo rolled in, he said the droid equivalent of "Holy ****, it's Baby Yoda!"

Of course, since he was hanging around the Jedi Temple at the same time Grogu would have been there, he was probably just thinking, "Oh hey, it's Grogu."

I think when your only major fights are against an excellent Sith Lord, it doesn't look like you are very powerful.

But when you're fighting robots basically, I think it would be pretty easy. And I think he's been training these past years, and if he's been training younglings, that helps his training as well.

The one thing that "bothered" me, is why is 5+ year post ROTJ Luke look way younger than ROTJ Luke? And it seems like they decided to do Mark Hamill as if he never got into the car accident.

Maybe it's a bridge to a real actor playing Luke next year.

So are these past two seasons "The Book of Din Djarin"? and next season we start "The Book of Boba Fett", both Mandalorians (even though Boba said he wasn't)?

For some reason I thought The Mandalorian took place after the sequel trilogy. I was trying to figure out why Luke was alive and young. :)

AMAZING episode, plus Boba Fett's Revenge.

Those robots gave Mando fits. And survived deep space. And wrecked blast doors.

Luke Skywalker is a fully trained Jedi Night, and Mando is a guy with really great armor.

    It's no contest.
