Mando not only swaps his helmet with a stormtrooper one, he takes the whole thing off, so we finally get to see Pedro Pascal. I guess he’ll do anything for Grogu.

Even though not much happened plot wise in this episode, I enjoyed it.

Baby Yoda gets the week off

How did Boba Fett ge his armour and suit all back into shape?

Speaking of Boba Fett, it's fun to see Slave 1 in action.

I think as far as Boba and his armor - in previous episode it seems that he wore in on top of his regular clothing, so it didn't fit well, but he finally had time to clean it and to dress properly.

The ease with which they infiltrated Imperial security bureau is a bit silly, as is scrambling tie fighters only when they were near the base instead of having fighters as escort

And the message from Mando at the end made no sense. Why warn Gideon that he's coming?

Very fun episode though, and it was great to see Slave 1 inside.

It's a Hollywood thing. Let your nemesis know you're coming for him, so he'll be quaking in fear.

As opposed to the real world, where your nemesis finds out you're coming for him when he feels your knife slitting your throat.

    ;)

Also it was word for word what Gideon said to Mando.

Even though it was obvious, I thought it was cool that they let prisoner guy go. However, I thought it was odd that they left him go while on a strange planet, in the middle of nowhere, with no provisions and no money.

Sci-fi tv has been very good to Ming-Na Wen

Life has been very good to Ming-Na Wen! I wish I'd looked that good when I was in my 50s. Or 40s. Or 30s.

    OK, hell, EVER. :D

When Mando and Mayfeld drove through the village, I was sure they were going to stop for a side quest but I guess it was just a setup for Mayfeld's speech on how the Empire and the New Republic were basically the same for the peons.

The foley folks need to tone down the Stormtrooper screams. It was funny the first few times but now it's kinda annoying.

Mango and the helmet. I am sure as long as he is not in his beskar, the crime of removing your helmet is nullified. Like a priest not wearing his collar when wearing street clothes. If in full Mano gear the crime is not letting others see your face...not technically just the removal of the helmet.

Yes. He found it in the ruins of his spacecraft, and took it with him. It was the only thing that survived the explosion.

It's a good thing those pirates didn't have a gun like the gun Bill Burr used to blow up the unobtaninum. (I know, just can't remember Bill Burr's character's name or the name of the explosive stuff)

And don't pirates usually want to steal stuff as opposed to just blow it up?

Maybe those 'pirates' were actually freedom fighters, trying to stop the Empire. Would kind of paint Mando in a bad light...

On a rewatch I thought about what a bad look it is having Mando kill all of these indigenous people.

But the writers smartly had them attacking the transport with deadly force, so Mando and Mayfeld had no choice.

And by the end of the episode, Mando and team had destroyed the Empire’s mine, leaving the planet safe for the natives.

One man's freedom fighter is another man's terrorist. Just depends on which side you're on. And that's what Mayfeld (Burr's character) was talking about during his chat with Mando.
