It was fun to see Ahsoka come alive. While I don't completely love the wardrobe and the way her Montrals were designed (too short? Too foam-feeling?) the actress nailed Ahsoka's mannerisms and little smirks.
I am a little tired though of every episode being 90% just a side-quest ...

And it would have actually made sense for her to go along with Mando to Tython instead of leaving them 5o fend for themselves. I guess we'll see...

But ... Thrawn, didn't see that one coming ...

Loved Ahsoka. A nice mini series of the isolated Jedi would be wonderful.

Rosario Dawson was awesome! And I did not recognize Michael Biehn.

Was glad The Child...ooops...I mean Grogu stayed with Mando.

    Another great episode!

It’s confusing now as to what of Thrawn is canon. The Zahn novels aren’t anymore.

Did they write Yaddle out of the canon?

Grand Admiral Thrawn was in Rebels, the cartoon series that is part of the canon.

Thrawn also has a trilogy of newer books that are part of canon as well.

No. She was in Phantom Menace so her existence is canon.

Ahsoka doesn’t know of her existence.

Is there a Mandolorian without Grogu? I mean, at some point this quest has to end, right? It could have (not that it was going to) this episode. Then what?

Do we know that for sure or did a writer make a mistake and forget about Yaddle?

Yeah and Ashoka looking for Thrawn makes sense considering...

    (Spoiler for Rebels finale)
Thrawn disappeared with Ezra to parts unknown and Ashoka went off looking for Ezra.

The writer is Dave Filoni, so I doubt he made a mistake.

I am quite curious Ahsoka first appeared confronting the magistrate, and not jumping in on Mando.

Seems like it would have been the better entrance.

I'm pretty sure there are going to be multiple spinoffs, at least. Because I don't see Bo-Katan's quest for the dark Saber, and Ahsoka's quest to find Grand Admiral Thrawn as part of this series.

But there haven't been any announcements yet.

Loved it! I was expecting Ahsoka to join with Mando, so I'm really interested in hearing how all these things are going to come together. It's fun that we have a name Grogu, and how he reacted to Mando calling his name was SO CUTE! I called him using the ship knob, which was perfect.

I really feel like I should try to watch Clone Wars again. I made it through the first season, but it just wasn't terribly interesting. I'm hearing it gets much more interesting, and I also saw that there's an official "chronological" order that was posted on the Star Wars site so you can watch things in order rather than the episode order which is all jumbled up. I might try to make some time to watch.

I started the clone wars cartoon recently. I just started season two and there is a definite shift in the tone of the show. I am really liking it a lot more so far.

Yeah, I think I'll give Clone Wars another shot. I generally don't like that style of animation (Tomb Raider era computer game animation), but it sounds like this show might be worth it.
