I have enjoyed the past 2 seasons but I think they are in dangerous shark filled waters now. Everyone "training" Kevin? Taco in an Algerian soap and being a porn star?
The only part I liked was them all getting auto drafted.

Loved it. Can't wait for the porn "payoff".
Loved the Auto-draft because one of my leagues just experienced that when the bar that we were at's internet went out right as we were starting!

A tad too raunchy for my tastes. Just a bit overboard to me, and a bit forced (the comedy).

Still enjoyed it, but not quite as much.

I thought it was top-notch. Considering how all of last season was firing on all cylinders, I was a little worried that I'd set my expectations too high going into this year. They met all my expectations pretty easily. This show has 2 or 3 storylines seemingly every episode that may seem like "jump the shark" type ridiculousness, but the level of ridiculousness of this show is so high and so well done that it hardly registers as anything close to even eyerolling to me now. I am thrilled that the show is back and can't wait to see what's next.

    People's...
Agree that ridiculous plot turns can never be a shark on this show. As long as it comes together at the end is what makes this show enjoyable.

Always enjoy appearances by Kayden Kross. :)

I've never played fantasy football, so perhaps someone who does can chime in: If the picks were done via auto-draft, is there anything they can do for the rest of the season other than just watch how their random players perform? Do they get to select which players from their roster 'play' in each match, or trade players around mid-season?

Yes, they can do everything normally, (set their rosters, add/drop players, trade their players, etc..) The only difference is that the computer picked the group of players they get to start with. Except Andre. His reactions to the computer picks he assumed were the normal members were great.

I KNEW it was a kicker year!!!!! :)

I think in this league there are all the guys we see, and then like 4 remote guys. So the remote guys probably got awesome teams :D

Last year first episode they had a draft board or was it the vegas draft ep (or the same one, whichever) but it had like 12 players, and they made reference to other guys that couldn't be there and such.

    It's not a 6/8 team league

Could not disagree more and found it to be one of the funniest episodes of one of my favorite shows.

    Shivalingus. Heh heh heh.

I actually think it is an 8 team league. I'm going off memory that could definitely have misinterpreted the tea leaves, but I thought it started as a 10-team, and then went down to 8.

Confirmed that last season was 8-team league. I'm assuming this season is, too.

It's ridiculous, it's over the top, it's raunchy, and all of the above is so TRUE. But this show is just funny. I think this was the funniest episode of a sitcom I've watched in AGES!!! My son and I watched this, and then my wife and I sat and watched Whitney and some other sitcom I can't remember, and there was no comparison in funny. The League made me laugh out-loud several times. The other sitcoms, a polite chuckle...a "that's cute". I LOVE how they torture Andre. I loved Ruxin's Shiva Bowl Shuffle...and just lost it when we saw what happened with his ring. And "porn Andre" complete with the gap in his teeth!! LOL

And oh, in an old former baseball fantasy league draft wound up in an "auto draft" when I forgot about the league I had joined on a whim...and ended up winning the league :)

I say this every year but even my wife, who doesn't know anything about fantasy football other than I'm in a couple of leagues, still loves this show!

"Exactly what I needed, my third defense!"

These were very well-written lines and were humorous to just people aware/involved in fantasy football.

Part of the show's appeal is most certainly tied to fantasy football, which is what makes the show go from "good" to "great" for me.
