I really enjoyed this season much more than last (it's up there with season 1) but I thought the middle of this episode (Eleanor back among the living) got redundant and I was losing interest until the bar scene (great touch!) and how she reached Chidi. I thought we'd see snippets of all of them during this time.

I have no interest in Jason whatsoever - as I've mentioned previously I hate characters who are so over the top stupid. They are not funny to me and just annoying so I hope we don't get an episode next season of his antics on earth.

He's teaching at St. John's University in Australia in the episode, so I'm pretty sure he's able to speak English.

Without question, the shows benefits greatly from the shorter seasons. The pacing would be much different, and there would be a lot more filler if it was a full 22 episodes.

I think I read somewhere that NBC wanted to give them longer seasons but they didn't want it to keep the pace where it is.

I think we'll see Jason back on Earth and Janet will be the one that keeps him going, just as Michael did with Eleanor. Not sure if Janet will lead him to Tahani or not.

Oops! I meant I like season 2 after the break much more than the first half of season 2.

Janet seemed to spend the entire time reading Jason’s tape (no surprise), so at least we know he didn’t die again right away.:)

Or she may have been gone to save Jason, probably more than once.

The first thing that came to my mind when the camera focused on KB's eyes opening when she woke was "Lost"

The Internet is apparently split on if they were sent to new simulations or were sent back to Earth to continue living their lives if they hadn't died.

The Good Place season 2 finale: what the fork just happened?

It would seem to have to be a simulation, unless time travel is involved...

I'm not sure if I buy Ted Danson as a bartender.

Oh, I thought he was totally convincing. In fact, they could make a whole show around him being a bartender!

Since immortal beings have no sense of time, it should be easy for them to insert them into the time line wherever they want? It would be helpful to them to insert them into a new situation without their old friends and family that got them to the bad place to begin with. Not trying to make it easy on them, I guess.

(I was watching Supernatural yesterday, and when Rowena said that line, I could not figure out why I had already heard it. Thanks Rob. LOL)

"Immortal" simply means you don't die. Doesn't mean you have time-travel powers!

Haha. This is turning into a BBT thread. Arguing over time travel possibilities in a show that has demons, the afterlife, good places, bad places and Janets.

I have no problems with any of that.

Well... to be honest, it took me a while to believe in Janets. :)
