I know there has been some disappointment here with the current season. I mostly don't share it, although I will say I've found this season a bit less engaging than the prior two this far into their runs. A couple of great episodes, and lots of great scenes and moments, but the whole has felt a bit lesser. This episode, though, felt like vintage The Good Place. Brains, emotion, humor, lowbrow comedy -- it was all there, and all working. I thought it was great to see Ted Danson and KB spending most of the episode acting opposite each other in scenes without the other characters; really enjoyed their work here. The afterlife stuff (including the chart of Eleanor's bad memories, rivalries, family issues, and shames -- "Mister Peanut tattoo", ha!) was great, and a welcome return to the neighborhood. And Sean's back, with Vicky! Loved this one.
