Just a heads up that The Good Fight began airing season 3 today. The first episode is also available via alternate means.

I'm marathoning it this wknd, currently two eps in. Man, this show has gotten wild. Some of it's very funny. Michael Sheen is one of my favorite actors, I love his bizarre character.

    Looks like another good season.

Ok, a couple more eps in and I've changed my mind, I'm done with this series. It's well-acted, well-written and funny and clever but there's just too much politics. And yes, I know The Good Wife was political but it was also a courtroom drama and a family drama, The Good Fight is ALL POLITICS ALL THE TIME - every plot, every subplot, every sub-subplot is political. Even when I agree with the politics, it's just not my cup of tea.

I think it's a great show. Love the politics of it.

Yep. I plan to drop CBSAA for a few months now that the season is over for both The Good Fight and Star Trek. I’ll pick it up again in another 6-9 months. I wish they would drop all episodes at once.

If you made it through last season you shouldn't be surprised by the politics being prominent. I thought it was a good season, even if some episodes were not that great.

I loved the Good Wife, but this still wasn't enough for me to sub CBSAA when I have so many other things to watch. With that said, I'm on the fence about watching this, because I know I will probably like it, and then will want to spend more money on TV! That said, I'll probably watch it and see what happens. I remember CBS ran a season of Dexter one summer (granted it was during the writers strike a few years ago) and I never ended up subscribing to Showtime. I finished it using a combination of DVDs from the library and Netflix.

They drop a number of f bombs as well as some of the other "seven deadly words" over the seasons so dialogue would have to be edited for CBS broadcast as well.

I’m sure that they are aware of what they’ll need to do in order to air on CBS - besides nudity and language, the episode lengths aren’t all consistent - so they may wind up editing some of them to fit within a traditional time slot.

If they can show Dexter on CBS, they will figure out how to show this.

If they were smart they would have planned ahead for that and did alternate takes without the swearing/nudity/etc.

    I loved this season!

My onepass picked up the episodes of the Good Fight airing on the 16th, but isn't able to recognize the individual episodes. Both just say "spin off of the "The Good Wife about a high profile law firm in Chicago."" Is that how it is with everyone else's?

Mine shows the same. At more than seven days out, the Tivo guide is abysmal. With luck, it may improve soon.

My mom has been pestering me to watch this for years., We both enjoyed The Good Wife and she claims TGF is better. I started S01E01 a few days ago and I'm already on E05. Really good.
