Well, he's back from the Speed Force and is faster than ever. I'm not sure how I feel about having huge cliff-hangers at the end of a season that get fully resolved in the first show of the next season. In any case, the season opening ("Flash Reborn") left a lot of questions to be answered. Barry has no recollection of anything between him leaving and him coming out of his mental breakdown. They all seem quick to dismiss all the stuff he was writing down in weird symbols, but I'm pretty sure those gibberish writings will mean something. And like the other seasons, the "villain" is introduced at the end. Is that... Metron? It's the only DC character that comes to mind, and is VERY interesting because he's not a villain. If it is, then those symbols start making sense, as they look like a lot of symbols you see whenever you're dealing with the New Gods. I enjoyed the second episode, "Mixed Signals". It was more of a comic episode than anything, but that's what I like about the show. It doesn't try to get all gritty. His suit going into "floatation device" mode made me chuckle. <sigh> Iris is still tedious and a total drama queen.
