Anyone else rooting for the humans to be virtually wiped out and then have the 7 billion rotting corpses in turn exterminate the aliens?

It would seem to be a fitting end to the series.

 

I have about 14 episodes to watch. If the finale is good, I don't mind watching. On the other hand, I could really use the space for other shows.
