Ooooh, THAT'S why it recorded one out of order..
Same thing last night. The repeat was considered new. I guess that 28-day rule really works.
for me, the guide data had updated, so the orig showing was not a 'Comedy Central programming'..
Not for me. Repeats should never be new. You sure you don’t have it set to new and repeats?
I frequently have two History entries also. One at 1:35am and one at 1:40am, both with "not new" status. But sometimes there is a "duplicate" status on one. At one time there was an early morning repeat. I guess my TiVo misses that. Since the morning repeat stopped, they can get away with more nasty words at 11pm.
Repeats will be considered “new” in the first 28 days if the Tivo didn’t record the original airing, say because the original airing wasn’t in the guide.
Wait, I thought it was within 14 days.. IIRC, the 28 days is the "don't record the same episode again"... (e.g. if you include repeats)
This crap is back again this week and I missed last night's TDS since the Tivo did not record.
I am at a loss to understand what is happening here, but I see the episode is available online.
Yes, I noticed it too. But when this happened before I just changed the TiVo to a manual recording on Comedy Central from 11-11:30pm M-F. So the episode recorded for me, but the title of the show recorded was "Comedy Central Programming."
Yep - too bad it won't let you create a one pass recording for it.
A "Comedy Central Programming" WishList is a necessity for Daily Show watchers. Maybe one day Rovi will get their act together, but I'm not holding my breath.
I created an auto-record wish list for that, but it didn’t pick up this week’s episodes. I still had to manually schedule them.
That's odd. I haven't had any problems like that.
Here is fun.
Search for Comedy Central programming. Navigate to “may also like” and you get the Daily Show.
oops, you're right, but yes, auto-recording wishlist.. I've had one for a long time to work around this issue.
I had a connection this morning that furthered the guide data (finally). For next week, starting Tuesday, TDS is back on the schedule. Is Monday a holiday of some sort? Other shows are on the guide data during that time for Monday coming up.
