I'm still not loving Roseanne/The Conners. For some reason, the whole show seems very stilted to me, very forced. I don't know what it is about the show, but nothing about the show has the natural rhythm you see in most sitcoms (including the original run of Roseanne).

I find that in most of the reboots. "Will and Grace," "Roseanne" and "The Conners," "Murphy Brown." There is more of a stiffness than in the originals, and less of a smooth flow.

For the love of God, somebody GIVE JOHN GOODMAN A CHEESEBURGER! He looks like he ready to follow Roseanne into the grave! :dizzy:

Was a fan of ep1...not impressed at all with ep2.

Will monitor for a bit and will likely disengage shortly... ;)

Pretty much the same reaction for me. E1 was okay, thought they handled the death well. E2 was a not-very-funny sitcom episode.

I killed the SP, no real desire to keep watching.

Interesting--I thought that the acting has continued to improve.

Loved seeing Crystal (Natalie West) back, if even just for a moment, and as an aging cocktail waitress and in casino cocktail waitress garb, in last night's episode. :)

I didn't put this together until I saw this photo today, but Juliette Lewis and Johnny Galecki played Audrey and Rusty in Christmas Vacation.

Well, the show has always felt like an incest storyline would show up eventually.

This show isn't popular enough to have full season threads it seems. I have a comment about Season 2, but it doesn't deserve it's own thread just for my silly comment. lol

If Cheryl Hines is going to be a regular on this show, they are going to lose me. She is just an actor that I can't stand. She thinks she is so funny, and to me she is just annoying. I love Curb, but dang she runs that show into the ground for me.
And unrelated to the show, I feel the same about Wendie Malick. She's probably a nice person, but I haven't liked her since the Dream On days.

I am ambivalent about your first part. And 100% the other way on your second part.
