I thought this episode was great. I liked the haggling at the beginning (although Leonard having the ability to haggle is stretching it) and the end with Brent Spiner a lot.

'Remember when we used to make these masturbate..."

Wesley always was pretty hands on...

I did think the floppy drive thing was a bit lame.

I guess Sheldon has a new mortal enemy.

It was a little weird that Evil Wil Wheaton was suddenly not evil anymore. I didn't get the sudden change of heart.

I didn't either. It's not like it's all been one sided with Sheldon, which I could totally see happening. They have shown multiple times Wheaton getting off on antagonizing Sheldon and fueling the fire.

I was waiting for the other shoe to drop with Wheaton. So what's up, he's not evil anymore??

I agree with the posts so far:
Didn't get Leonard having the haggling skill set and was waiting for more to that.
Didn't believe that Sheldon would have that list on an unreliable 5 1/4.
Didn't get the big switch of Evil Will Wheaton (I first thought it was a setup between him and Data but didn't seem like it. I also thought maybe he was transferring Sheldon to Data but that didn't seem to be it either.)

    Still was very funny

    Perhaps it's the long con.

Definitaly a nerd wrote this episode. I recognized the brand name of the 5 1/2 floppy. We tried hooking a floppy drive (I believe a 5 1/2 floppy drive) to a PC and the version of Windows we had (Windows XP) could not read the files. Oh well. :)

You did something wrong. The OS knows what to do. Until I tossed my last desktop a couple months ago it was running xp with 3.5 and 5.25 floppies. Last thing I did before tossing it was migrate anything I wanted off my old media.

Or the disk corrupted itself. Floppy disks weren't known for their astounding data lifetimes :D

I think Wil was just offering an olive branch to Sheldon, as if to say, "Let's bury the hatchet."

I caught on instantly as to why Sheldon's mortal enemy list was on a 5 1/4" floppy - because he started the list a looong time ago. :p

Bernadette looked amazing in that purple and teal skirt and sweater outfit sitting on Howard's bed. :) :) :) Swoon.....

One would think Sheldon would have a mobile app for his mortal enemies list. I guess Leonard still doesn't know that evil Wil Wheaton was the one that sabotaged his relationship with Penny.

Maybe the guilt over that caused Wil to change his ways.

...or maybe the show's character guides were stores on 5 1/4 floppies too and became corrupted.

I think the rest of us caught on to that too - when Sheldon clearly said he started the list when he was 9 years old.

my disbelief was that it would STAY on floppy disk. I agree that I would think he would have a mobile app, by now.

Back then, Verbatim was well regarded for floppy storage and was one of my preferred brands.

Put me in the camp who didn't grok the reason as to why evil Wil Wheaton extended the olive branch.
And why Sheldon hadn't transferred his list to at least a USB Flash drive.
But I still found it funny when he pulled out the 5.25 drive.
As I did with most of the episode.

BTW, both David Gerrold, and DC Fontana were at the party too.
(And why was Brent Spiner uncredited?)

Also, we saw some growth in Howard.
(And he had every right to be pissed off at Bernadette.)

I loved when Penny asked Bernadette if she was SURE that Howard is the man for her. And the look between Penny and AFF when she answered. :D
