SHE may have realized it, but Leonard and Sheldon aren't lawyers so they wouldn't, and as such, it didn't matter to her. I could see Bernadette or Howard mentioning that though.

Well, you could claim that, but as long as that duress remains, you probably wouldn't...

In my opinion, Leonard has low self esteem.. He puts up with Sheldon because of it.

Honestly, I think Leonard has backslid. He had the cajones to break up with Penny when she admitted she didn't think it was headed anywhere but he basically allows Priya to walk all over him.

I was thinking at first that they can always claim it after the fact.

But had Priya not panicked, all she needed to say to Sheldon was, "Sheldon, the new agreement won't be valid because it was signed under duress." and Sheldon would have said, "Curses, foiled again".

But since the writers needed something to get Leonard upset with Priya, they had her panic.

I was expecting the story to veer off to how the monkey claimed to have cured itself because it have King Kong DNA.

Yes, he only used the first sequence, not the full thing, but he used the actual code given in the episode. (Technically the first code given in the episode). That's what I meant.

Hate to nitpick but Sheldon used the Code "1-1A-2B" which was the code Spock used in Let That Be Your Last Battlefied or the second code given.

You are right. My memory is failing. But at least it was A code used in the episode referenced, instead of something they made up entirely.

Perhaps their tech guy is as old as me, and he remembered it wrong, too.

I'd argue that they did do it correctly, in terms of characterization.

While Sheldon no doubt thinks everything would be better with him in charge, his favorite character isn't Kirk.
    It's Spock.

So on that level, it makes more sense that he would use Spock's code and not Kirk's.
(And he wouldn't be caught dead using Scott's code as well all know what he thinks of engineers.)

And apparently, the TOS graphic has no countdown timer.

I'm wondering if that card was another jab at a certain somebody.
