Apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Here's an interview with Corinne's mother where she defends her daughter's actions:

Well, I was right about the 2-on-1. They hinted that they both may be leqving, but that is probably a tease. The producers need to keep Corinne around as long as possible - this season has been the Corinne show.

I am getting a little tired of it already - lets just get rid of her and move on.

Nick is what, 35? Corinne is 23? 24? Same with Taylor and some of the other girls. Just yuck.

Hey Mom, it may be "fake" but if it were my daughter, as a father, i'd be appalled at that. Then again, as a father, I don't think I'd want my daughter within a 10 foot pole of that show. That being said, I can't not watch and as much as I despise Corinne (good job Fleissmeister), she is entertaining, in an angry sort of way.

Without a doubt, Corinne will be on Paradise!

I knew it was Taylor that was going home. Why?

In the first episode they always have that "This season on The Bachelor". They show Corinne showing up at Nick's hotel room in the middle of the night ready to have sex with him. Whether they do or not is unclear though.

Yeah, my wife and I have been commenting on the same thing. We know that Corinne can't be in any danger until that scene happens, which makes most of these "dramatic" scenes just the opposite.

I'm pretty sure that all of the younger girls were cast when they had a different Bachelor in mind. Nick was kind of a last second pick, and I don't think they had time to bring in an entirely new cast when they swapped him in. That said, it seems to me that the clubhouse leaders are all much more age-appropriate for him: Vanessa, Rachel, and Danielle M.

I believe Luke(?) the cowboy from JoJo's season was their first choice.

Yes - and I was extremely disappointed when they pulled him. I love Luke!!!

That being said, I never watch the "this season on" previews because they give away too much!

And that's why I spoilerized it. Even though this is a spoiler thread :D

I appreciate that - but it is a spoiler thread.

Also, they tend to put teasers on of upcoming events that prove to be not what you think they will be. So who knows.

I will say, this show is the only thing that makes me look forward to Mondays. It is quite the guilty pleasure!!!

So Nick came clean concerning his feelings. IMO, he has no real connections with those that are left and was clearly struggling with the two on the 2-on-1.

If he proposes to anyone, that would be a HUGE mistake. This guy has no plans on settling down anytime soon.

Actually, I disagree, at least in part. I think he has a real connection with - and feelings for - Rachel and Vanessa. Vanessa, in particular, has been put on the "bench", so to speak, but I'm pretty sure that both she and Rachel are going to be pretty prominent going forward. And Christina seems like a dark horse that is starting to make a run.

It is funny watching Nick when he's really not feeling someone though. You can read his face pretty easily whether he's into someone or not, and it was clear with Jasmine and with Whitney that he had checked out on both. Same with Danielle L at their dinner date - he had one flicker of interest and connection with her, and but when she fumbled her answer to what she thought was most important in a relationship (her answer: Love?) he checked right back out.

Ya know, this show has always been a guilty pleasure for me. It's usually pretty fun. I was not happy when they selected Nick (I wanted Luke or Ari), but I figured it would be fun regardless.

Last night's episode was the most depressing Bachelor episode I have ever seen. It wasn't dramatic, it wasn't interesting, it wasn't fun - it was DEPRESSING. Not why I watch this show.

And I don't see Nick having any real chemistry with anyone. And that is WITH a good edit. He has reverted back to the same ****** Nick we saw in his 2 seasons (prior to Paradise).

If this doesn't get better - and fast - I may bail. Ugh.

This week was pretty painful. Most depressing beach volleyball game ever. :D

Hopefully it picks up next week.

WTH happen with Vanessa? All of a sudden there was no connection. And don't these women know not to say the 4-letter word? It's the...ahem...kiss of death. Speaking of Vanessa, did she walk away from the show? She was noticeably absent on the last half.

And poor Danielle. There was zero chemistry and yet she was feeling there was. Here's hoping they bring Kristina back as the next Bachelorette!

Spoiler alert, they have already announced the new Bachelorette....it was all over the news yesterday and was officially announced, dramatically with the help of Chris Harrison, on Jimmy Kimmel last night. But I will spoilerize.....

Rachel Rachel Lindsay Is Your New Bachelorette: 13 Things to Know About Her

Which is a little weird because she is still on the show.....
